Maybe it’s just me, but if you don’t have enough scholarship players to have a 2-deep, you dont have enough players for an entire season. Presuming we dont bring another wr or two, we wouldnt have enough to have a 2-deep (assuming wr’s count as 4 players at the same time for spread formations)

Our WRs are top 10 worst in the nation at dropped passes and separation. Actual fact. And Dylan Sampson is going pro. We definitely need more skill players. Id still prioritize taking care of the trenches first.

Edit: before people freak out. Idk if he’s going pro yet but why wouldn’t he. I guess it’s 90% he goes.

no, they will have next to zero impact. Travis Smith has a chance to see some minutes maybe. But as we saw with Mike Matthews, freshman don’t excel or play big minutes in this offense

I want to win. If transfers ruffle a few feathers of some of our players then so be it.

I’d like one more depth piece from the portal. Not that I don’t think these guys will be good…I do. I’ve just seen so many WR injuries, going into the season so thin scares me. Especially since 3 of them are true freshmen. But the coaches knew better than me how ready the freshmen will be.

We’ve had 4 different WR’s eclipse at least 800 yards in 4 years under Heupel.

Not attacking the messenger but I couldn’t disagree more. We have big issues at safety and WR

One very important thing people aren’t talking about is talent evaluation. The staff needs to get better at their evaluations in the areas that need most attention.

I hope squirrel leaves. Overrated, too small, and I think was a distraction. I don’t think the staff used him very well for his best skills either.
