It’s the week after a tough loss and the end of our season. The pendulum will swing back.Won a national title in baseball.
#1 in basketball. Just made the elite eight for second time in history.
Have beaten Alabama and Florida in 2 of last 3 years in football. Finished second 10 win regular season in three years after being lost for 25 seasons. #1 player in country from 2 years ago at QB. #1 player in country for 2026 committed at QB.
And people on here are miserable. Hopefully people have enjoyed this run more than it appears here right now.
We started a walk on at safety and had WRs who couldn’t outrun their corners, meanwhile our o-line couldn’t open the gaps necessary to get a stagnant run game going. All the while, our linebackers and DBs were getting out manned all night long. That’s not “being out coached” that’s being out played by better athletes. This… we lost because we got out coached. I love Coach Huep, but I’m a realist. This offense is totally different than the 2022 offense that he wowed everyone with. Play calling was terrible most of the year, and we still won 10 games. We have the athletes to compete with OSU, but we got way out coached. I believe Huep knows this too
Boo was promised by our staff to play offense, and they never gave him the chanceThis dude stuffing @RiseToTheTop and @JCVol00 in a locker with this one post saying it’s not about our staff not paying NIL
We needed to get our nose bloodied to expose our weaknesses. It’s part of the process; but if it’s gonna be a silver-lining, you need to apply the lessons.Honestly I've seen people ask this question. I think it'd been better if we made a pointless bowl, then people would be arguing about us getting screwed.
The problem is Saturday wasn't even comepetitve.
The timing of the portal windows is atrocious. Coaches nor players should be having to spend time worrying about how much player A is gonna make next year in the middle of playoff preparations. They’ve been working on this for over 2 weeks. Still fighting.
The Colorado draw is real for Boo and that family, this isn’t only money on the bottom line.
Hope the love for TN and faith in the staff is there to get them to stay….along with a very good offer we’ve put in front of them.
- API know there are some anxious moments going on right now but let’s play GM…if TN gets Boo done and nobody else leaves, TN will have really navigated the window back remarkably well. They will have lost 0 starters and nobody that can’t be replaced with equal or greater value. Getting Boo done and avoiding any losses in the next 36 hours will be truly impressive to me.
Chris Brazzell is one that is still up in the air a little bit to me. I’d lean to him back but don’t think it’s done done.
All the departures are back ups or non factors which is going to happen.
Tennessee is also in their window having wrapped up their season along with the other three teams that lost last weekend. Other teams will start having to go through this with their five day window starting after their bowl game next week. That’s why I think it feels like Tennessee is just a piñata taking shots because all you ever see are the headlines about this player leaving or that player leaving… But in my opinion, you haven’t lost anybody to this point that should cause a panic.
Disagree. Blow some bum squad out by 30 and we'd be running with a ton of positive momentum into next year.We needed to get our nose bloodied to expose our weaknesses. It’s part of the process; but if it’s gonna be a silver-lining, you need to apply the lessons.
I think we will, but the fix likely won’t happen as quickly as I would like it to.
I will never understand why some of y’all get so worked up over who is/isn’t an insider and who believes it or not.Y’all are so gullible it is comical lol how
many “insiders” is the board going to fall for before you learn they are nothing more than guessing based off of information taken from Twitter and pay sites or fans from other teams trolling this board. It never fails
There is an easy obvious one to cut that would take us down to 5 mouths to feedI wonder if being good in every sport will eventually make us choose. Got to think, we have the top baseball and basketball teams currently, a top 10 football team, women’s basketball, and softball. While women’s aren’t as expensive, that’s 6 teams of mouths being fed.
I'm loving the run were on. Got new TN pullovers 2 of them. Rocking my TN Vols and love all Athletics. In CHRIST AloneWon a national title in baseball.
