To be fair though, I'm not sure many people considered Seth McLaughlin to be a big portal add. I know Alabama fans were glad he left. He could barely get off a clean snap when he was there.

I will never forget the drop he had against KY that hit him in the stomach that would’ve been a 50-60 yard TD at a critical point, I think it was 21-18

He had plenty of drops. If he gets better at actually catching the ball he could be a great wr. Actually hoped he could improve his hands here.

i understand the thought process here but if I’m sure their agent isnt trying to keep it a secret. He is probably even telling other teams our offer is higher than what it was to drive up the bid.

He dropped 2 sure thing TDs against Arkansas this year that would have won us the game. Totally different season and playoffs at 11-1. He didn't lose that game by himself though...the Tackles on the Oline were absolutely abysmal. Heard in particular was as bad as I have ever seen a Tackle at UT perform, he was apparently hurt. Theres film breakdown of that game that shows all the times Heard completely missed his block, the DE ran right around him untouched etc. Thankfully he improved as the season went on, and is a much better run blocker than pass protector. He will still need to improve a lot to be good next season. Our coaches believe he is the guy though...and I believe in them.

Its amazing to me that Nimrod only has 300 yards and 1 TD. He played a LOT of snaps this season with Squirrel hurt. He dropped at lot of passes. This offense is set up for the Slot WR to shine...he had ample opportunity and just couldn't get it done. With Staley and Dodson at Slot next year...it will be interesting to see if Jefferson plays there or outside WR?
