Sounds from your quote that he has his eyes on the league. Just not sure how not breaking the starting lineup as a soph == 'not being developed'.Been there for 2 years and hasn’t cracked the starting lineup, nor does have over 200 yards receiving.
Will be a Jr next season with both Tate and Smith back. He might start next season, he might not.
He’s definitely one that would at least play more here.
Maybe he is content with his role right now.
It just feels like him or one of the other WRs because of the way Eric posted.lol right? Dude has definitely been targeted.

We know the positions we want/need in the portal. We’ve offered RBs, OL, etc. but we haven’t offered a single WR besides Jefferson.
Just makes too much sense to me that it be Tate or Innis

Hartline has a fair argument for being the best WR position coach in college football.Sounds from your quote that he has his eyes on the league. Just not sure how not breaking the starting lineup as a soph == 'not being developed'.
Maybe he transfers for playing time, and UT would probably be a great dest for that reason. But if he moves, I doubt it's because he feels UT will develop him for the league better than OSU is.
As we all know next season OSU opponents will be dead set on NOT letting Jeremiah Smith beat them. Tate could have a monster season next year as 2nd option at OSU..According to the stat tracker I'm looking at, Tate had 9 targets last night and 7 catches. Only time this year he had more targets was the 10 he got vs. Michigan. He had 3 vs. Oregon and 1 vs. us.
He gets the targets when the opposing defense focuses on shutting down Smith and limiting Egbuka and actually has the roster to do it. He likely is WR2 for them next year. I agree with the idea that if it's an OSU WR we're expecting, it's more likely to be Innis or someone else other than Tate.
Well it’s definitely not ND, they have 2 starters that are SophIt may not even be an OSU WR. Who's to say Innis doesn't slide into Egbuka's spot? We're all just throwing poop against the wall to see what sticks.
@Ericvol2096 - We need a better hint.
Yeah, I think Ewers best bet is to go pro. If not, Arch is gonna take his place at Texas and who knows where he would land in the portal. He didn't have a great season, but his draft stock is probably as high as it's gonna get. Better go now or take the chance on regressing or losing your starting job and possibly going in the later rounds or even undrafted next year.
There is no way our coaches with significantly more knowledge, experience and access to concrete evidence to evaluate could do better than internet sleuths working with half-thruths, zero experience and zero evidence from the practice field or film room!?!?Or maybe you stick to lubing your bearings and trust the coaches to evaluate talent.
Looking at OSU WRs, Bryson Rodgers actually entered the portal last year before withdrawing. Then they have two freshmen other than Smith. Someone will get Egbuka's snaps. Depending on who that is, that could push someone to the portal. And based on practice, they probably already have an idea of the pecking order.Well it’s definitely not ND, they have 2 starters that are Soph
3 grad transfers and one RS Jr. who will slide into the 3rd spot next season.
Plot twist: it’s no one
A statement like like that makes him seem even less likely. Hartline>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>PopeI would want Innis solely because he doesn’t seem interested in NIL apparently.
This was in 2023, when teams were offering him crazy NIL deals:
“Do you take the money now or do you get developed to be the best you can be, and in the long run you’ll earn more money and be more ready and developed by the time you get to the NFL?”
No truer words were ever spokenI’ll take whoever enters the portal.
I can’t lie, Innis would probably be ranked in the top 10 WRs in the portal due to him being a younger guy and having that potential.
He may not be getting paid that much nor is he getting that much playing time. Like in that article I posted, Innis said he wanted to be developed over NIL….doesn’t seem like he’s getting either At OSU.
