Regarding Tate - A few days ago I didn't have any optimism that he would enter the portal, he closed off all communication with everyone.... Looks like that has now changed. We have had communication with him for a while and looks like he is now open to offers.

The leader in receptions at Ohio State was Egbuka with 81 as the #2 option.

Tate can basically do the same thing next season while Jeremiah Smith will be doubled team all season.

Hartline staying, big bump in NIL is what kept Tate at OSU.

Let’s put all our eggs into one basket for a guy who grew up an Ohio State fan and was never leaving. Seems pretty smart. Now we are sitting at 7 scholarship receivers and 3 are true freshman. Awesome man!

Hopefully there is a stealth name. I just haven’t heard it if there is which is very possible.

I am twice degreed, in stuff. And have schooling afterward. Was courted by Clempshit for a PHD, in mental overthinkings. Even accepted for a MBA.

(I didnt do either bc I dont like academia).

Also been doing third and fifth grade maths, that I then tell my wife to take over.

Cause I ain't good.

I just did the maths on 51/49. That's 1.0408%.

I may have you beat on maths as I spent 5 years in the 3rd grade

AP just said OSU offered him 2 million and he decided to stay. It’s over until spring. 7 scholarship receivers with only 3 ever seeing the field. Just a gross mismanagement by our staff in what could be Nico’s last year.

Here’s a tough pill to swallow. As much as it hurts to say, there is no elite wide receiver who is looking to play with Nico. I’m just disappointed… I really did not want to see Brazzell starting next season if i’m being honest.

After all the whining and moaning, the Vols' portal haul so far has been pretty solid on paper, IMO.

Yes, it could’ve been better, but the staff has addressed the glaring needs they had to, minus possibly adding a more experienced playmaker at WR. Which could still happen, obviously. And adding a DB is now a good idea, thanks to the McCoy injury.

It amazes me that everyone forgets we have a numbers crunch due to the Pruitt fiasco. We can only take someone from the portal if we have someone else go in the portal. We signed 26 high school players this year instead of signing less and hitting the portal hard.

This has been mentioned a bunch, but it just goes over the head of certain posters.

We are absolutely cooked. No experience at WR. No true WR1. And we don’t have Dylan Sampson to carry the offense. I’m sorry but there is just no excitement or hope that we can have another great season
