Some are running back coaches that would be converted.

Larry Porter (Ariz. St)

Pat Washington (Kentucky)

There is no suspense here....it will be T.J. Weist from cinny...all he had to do was offer the job to Tee first...he's bringing his guy now.

Ultimately, I don't mind, but I think he should target someone else with ties to Tennessee. I don't want another UC coach.

I have no problem with him bringing in the coaches he wants....that does not mean he can not make upgrades in the seasons to come if need be. For right now though...he wants guys who know him and his system...he believes in how he does things.

Out of those mentioned I'd LOVE Larry Porter, but Jones will be bringing his own dude from Cincy's. Last year we were Alabama North..Now we're Cincy's bigger brother.

Why not Zach Azzanni from Wisconsin? Ties to Butch Jones at Central Michigan where he was a receivers coach. Coached under Urban Meyer at Bowling Green and Florida. Knows the SEC. Has been able to recruit Florida well. Has been successful everywhere he has been.

Maybe he does not fit the "Cincinnati is best coaching staff in the country" criteria.:wink:
