Apparently instead of talking about realistic candidates, we decided to just make it a thread about every wide receiver in the history of Tennessee. Well done thread hijacker’s...well done.

Really Jason Swain ??? With absolutely no coaching experience ??

He's done a lot of work at combines with HS kids. The guy knows the position, he can motivate and he can teach what more do you really want? This is a position coach not the OC.

Boy is this ever a useless thread...didn't Coach Jones say last weekend that, if Tee Martin didn't join him on the staff at Tennessee, that he would bring TJ from UC?

what is the point is listing all these other contenders?

I'm voting for Thomas "TD" Woods! UT connections...Cutcliffe connections....Whole coaching career has been spent recruiting in the south.

Some are running back coaches that would be converted.

Kasey Dunn (Okie St)

George McDonald (Miami)

Andre Powell (Maryland)

Jason Nichols (La. Monroe)

Darin Hinshaw (Former UT)

Larry Porter (Ariz. St)

Wes Chandler (California)

Pat Washington (Kentucky)

T.J. Weist (Cinncy)

Daron Roberts (WV)

Kris Cinkovich (Arkansas)

How about this guy.

Memphis is overrated for high school football. Much more important to get someone who knows florida.

If you really want to play that card, Georgia produces more talent than Florida each year. So it's much more important to get someone with Georgia ties, than it is to get someone with Florida ties.

Apparently several UW staff members were not invited to tag along to Arkansas and are looking at several offers including Azzanni. Landing him will be a extra boost and soften the loss of Tee. He's got a good resume.

All Tenn is doing is giving the cincy coaches new colors and players; he should bring Hinshaw back for mere fact of having someone with any relevancy of the Tennessee program. He was a solid recruiter and WR coach.

And raises...

I am a very new member and hope to not get completely thrown to the dogs on this one. I live in MI, VOL grad, and have followed CBJ for "many" years. The word in MI is CBJ must hire an AA WR coach/recruiter, there are only 2 on staff, not enough to round it out. Which is why Hinshaw, Azzanni, and Weist will not be named...
