Tillman UK, McCullough unknown, Hadden likely hold out until UK. probably could play but likely won't risk it.
CJH was quoted saying McCullough is not suspended. But if you’re saying his return is unknown, what is the holdup. If he’s not suspended from the team, has UT told our athletic department that he can’t play until the case is resolved? So technically he’s not suspended but in reality he is?

Have I missed something with Sampson? Is he out for the season? What’s his status? I’d love to see his speed against Georgia.

You didn't miss anything, but Sampson did. He's probably still on the sh!t list for missing that block a few weeks ago that almost got HH killed.

In reality he has bigger things to focus on than football right now.

Agree,This needs to be a pseudo bye week for the 1st string. 2-3 possessions and yank em. Plus, great game to get 2/3 string all the work. We will be using the 2 string the rest of the way and dipping into the 3rd string. Hell we are using walk ons in the secondary. Be good to get game speed reps. Could pay dividends in November.
Need to win the game. Play the regulars until the game is out of hand. They need the work instead of practice.

Speculating, I can think of two reasons why McCullough is listed as not suspended but not available.

1. He actually did hurt his hand significantly in the incident and UT doesn't want to list it as a "hand injury." Listing him as having an injured hand doesn't help in the effort to get charges reduced.

2. The decision that McCullough was "unavailable" was made by people above Coach Heupel. Suspending him doesn't help in the effort to get his charges reduced.

He needs to get reps on throwing the 10-15 yard pass down the middle of the field.
Throwing a TD or two wouldn't hurt the buzz around Hooker and it's unlikely UT-M has talent that can cover Hyatt in a 1on1 matchup, much less Tillman.

It shouldn't take too long for Heupel to get the coverage he wants on our speedsters and exploit it. I'm sure our OL can handle the UT-M rush so going deep when they see man coverage should be fun.

Hopefully UT Martin doesn’t take cheap shots like Akron did. I don’t think they will
They won’t, the UT Martin coach has a lot of respect for UT. They have been improving themselves, of course we should win. Hopefully we can get a good lead and let some of our 2nd,3rd team guys and others get sone playing time. Helps build depth and gives them guys a chance to play and improve. GBO!

His status is he damn near got Hooker killed by sucking in pass protection.
I agree, at least the kid did pick up the football and darn near got the first down. Against Bama they weren’t going to risk the potential pass protection problem. But I still think he is going to be a very good player down the line. He will probably see a lot of action against Martin. GBO

Do you know why Dee Williams wasn't in there at the end? Seems like you'd play him before a walk-on.

what I've seen stated is he is just not as ready as the third year player. Its more difficult for injured players to get practice reps to understand the requirements of the job during the season when they are cleared to return. Even harder for new players that have had little reps in the scheme since arriving. They trusted Wright more to understand what to execute. Wright is a pretty decent athlete that played at Ensworth. 4.3 speed.

What I've seen and heard is the investigation is ongoing. No statement as to when he may be "available".

My guess would be what I bolded.

That’s about like “I shot the sheriff, but I did not shoot the deputy”!

Agree. The next thing is, do we cover the spread resting everyone?
