Was actually doing well in Spring practice based on reports, otherwise wouldn't have been splitting team 1 reps, correct? He evidently is prone to trying to force some passes because he has a strong arm and inexperience since he's the only QB on the roster who's never actually taken a Gameday snap. He obviously needs to get that corrected to have a shot at playing this year or any year.
He had 2 turnovers in the Spring game. Had mistakes, had some nice throws, 7-12 for about 85 yds and a td as well iirc. At least you acknowledged he played quite a bit vs the first team D. Most Ferguson haters just say he sucked vs the 2s.
I agree that it's Worley's job to lose and I'm glad to see he's doing well. I personally am a big fan of Dobbs as well. I expect him and Ferguson to battle for 2nd team with edge going to Dobbs.
The record showed the truth. O & W game attendance does not think Ferguson is going to be good QB and future guy due to the bad performance.Best case for this team is that Worley starts game 1 and every other game, and gets drafted after the season. Pretty sure TN would have a good season if that were the case.
I just think if Worley hasn't separated himself by now, CBJ is just waiting for his man Riley Ferguson to take the position. It may be a few games in though before Riley is named the starter.
Because one spring game makes or breaks you. Not your consistently better performance than Dobbs in practice over the past year.
I love how all you Jack legs that have attended a single (1) practice cananoint Dobbs as the future...lol...BUTCH JONES SAID FERGUSON AND WORLEY ARE GETTING ALL THE FIRST TEAM REPS FOR A REASON:::AND WILL CONTINUE TO. But you guys know more about the team than CBJ. Lolololololol
smdh #rileyisthefuture. #Getoveritpeople
Worley starts but expect Dobbs to play some if for nothing more than making defenses prepare for both. If Dobbs plays well, I'd expect his workload to increase as the season progresses.
He was just about spot on.
Fergy was the #2 during the regular season, and was ahead of Dobb's when the spring game rolled around.
Did that bump make you feel better?
No he wasn't. At no time during last season was he the sole #2 listed on the depth chart. There was a lot of speculation and hype, and he got more snaps during spring, but hey... I'm a "Worley is the starter" guy.
The issues with RF were not a total secret, and there was a reason why he was never the guy from day 1.
And I was at more than 1 practice this spring.
