Postscript: Josh Selby.

Well, he sure hasn't turned out to be the star point guard that everyone seemed to think he was. Interesting to see where he goes from here.

Nothing wrong with Selby, kinda hard to be the man on that team as a freshman. He could still play on my team. Some of these comments make posters on here sound like gator fans. As soon as a players chooses to play elsewhere its "We didn't really want him,he is not as good as advertised. I can tell you one thing,if Selby and Craft had ended up in Knoxville our season would have gone much differently! Another jewel from Hat for his legions of 10 year old posters to champion!! Losers gonna lose!!!! GO VOLS!

Your post would make a modicum of sense, which is rare for you, if I wasn't saying Selby would be more trouble than he was worth while he was committed to Tennessee. Thus, it's just more rank dumbassery from you.

Amazing. A thread created to celebrate himself. As if there aren't enough fanboys of hat, he has to raise the level of narcissism and praise himself.

For what it's worth, I was never too entralled with Selby, either, as I'm not big on scoring PGs in addition to his baggage. Maybe I should start my own thread, too. I can call everybody stupid and trash while I'm at it. Sounds like fun.

Haven't witnessed your presence lately, Unimaine. Where you been?

At the wake for Bruce Pearl's career with MHF and IA Vol.

On the other hand, I've posted quite a bit since the departure of Pearl. Maybe I should celebrate myself with self-congratulatory threads more often.

I knocked my wife up again. Started a thread on it.

I was going to say Juicey was there. Got a feeling he's hiding in the bushes at the Pearl residence somewhere.

Just got a mental picture of Jones interviewing for the job wearing a Fresh Prince of Bel Air suit.

Since Griff appears to have placed his head squarely up Cuonzo's ass, I assume IA Vol will get the Internet Monitor job at Jerkwater Florida CC with Forbes.

I will give you credit. You have a knack of telling the same exact joke 1,000 different ways. The internet monitor joke must stand alongside "trash" and "Pearlophile" as your own personally copywritten material or you stand to owe someone a hell of a lot of money for trademark infringement.

Wasn't there a pre-mutiny against Bruce by prominent posters to this board because UT "lost" Selby's commitment while BP was out of the country coaching the jewish olympics?

Seems like certain people were suggesting the fact that Bruce wasn't in pocket to at least try to talk Selby out of decommitting was a fireable offense back then.

In any event, many blamed Bruce personally for losing Selby. Is the consensus now that we dodged a bullet by Bruce "losing" the Selby commitment?

I'm just trying to decide if it's still Bruce's fault, or, was it divine intervention indirectly related to Bruce's jewish faith that we ended up losing Selby?

You never know in this forum. You've got a lot of posters thinking they are experts, when in fact, most of them don't have a clue. As if sounding smart means something...apparently it does here.

Yes, Hat and others chided Pearl for his absence while coaching in Israel and blamed said absence for losing Selby.

It's a "I told you so thread" and nothing more. :birgits_giggle:

Was that not a given? Griff can't move because let's face it, there are at least 15 prepubescent girls counting on him sticking around and leading them to the promised land. That leaves IA Vol or the shift manager at Shoney's who befriended Forbes.
