Potential Post Spring Roster Changes: Transfers?

Seldon has the size and speed combo we have been missing. It’s good to have at least 2 backs for rotation but Seldon has the potential to be more of a bell cow runner that we haven’t had in years. One that can also pick up the tough yards between the tackles, we used to spit out bell cow running backs. Bama and Georgia have had them many years. Seldon has that physical presence and hopefully the light comes on during spring and winter practices. GBO

This is a message board. People want to project what the roster may look like next year. That’s also why we follow recruiting with such passion.

This is now a huge part of that projection. In fact, roster management is the biggest key to success for any head coach. Saying it’s “gross” to speculate who might leave and who might not means it’s gross to speculate what the roster might look like. That’s a reach.

But again, if you don’t like it, don’t do it.

I’m not missing the point at all…I’m saying you’re kidding yourself if you think P5 college football is any different from professional football now…it’s not gross to speculate about the future of NFL players…it’s exactly the same for college now
