LOL at CBJ calling Elliot Berry Elliot Erry all practice after he thought he loafed on a play. I bet Elliot picks it up after that!

MARTINEZ: We've approached everything one day at a time, one period at a time, one rep at a time.

MARTINEZ: We've been impressed that they've been grinding. They're going to get better with reps.

MARTINEZ: There are still practices to go, but tomorrow night gives us the chance to step back and let them play and see what they can do

Those coaches go into butch's office every night after practice, shut the door, and laugh their asses off. They know the ****storm they just caused by having Worley on maintenance duty.

My guess is he is named starter early next week.

Bajakian on QBs: "By no means am I panicking (on QBs slow start). We have good players."

What a FOOL!!!!! Doesn't he know that the experts here have declared that all of the QB's SUCK and the O will only get better after new QB's get to campus? Amazing that UT still sends him a check. How did he ever get a job coaching without KNOWING that QB's like UT has are total BUMS? I guess someone needs to keep a moving van on reserve for this chump. :whistling:

The fact of the matter is, he used the word "panic" for a reason. It means the quarterback play is still really poor.

Jashon Robertson buried Dillon Bates in a run drill.

Gamble caught a 40-yard pass from Peterman.

Vickers worked with tackles.

AJ Johnson and Sutton were held out of some drills, they obviously have their jobs secured.

Pearson beat Swafford for a long TD.

Did he volunteer the word or was it suggested by the question? Either way, he seemed to lay the onus on himself by saying the players have talent.

FWIW, I truly doubt we have even the remotest idea of what it means... beyond what it means. He's not panicked. He has talented players and time.

There's three reasons he'd use 'panic'

1) The setup question used 'panic' - as in, "Hey Coach, are you panicking about this QB situation?!"

2) They know they are keeping expectations low and know the fans are buying it

3) They are worried.

This is far better than having an unattributed free floating "onus" with regard to QB play. Nice catch.

Vickers is 250 at DT

They did the QB maintenance day last year with one of them having a day of no throwing about every third day. Makes sense to test Worley today to have him fresh for the scrimmage tomorrow.
