This is my first season following practice this closely. Anybody else starting to think that reading about how the QB's play and which string they get the majority of their reps with each day is about as useful as reading your horoscope?

Same here and I fully agree.

BUT, I have to say the VN commentary is too entertaining to make me want to stop.

I really think the only value that can be gleamed from these reports are regarding position changes and tracking which freshmen will see immediate playing time. Other than that, you are stretching to draw conclusions.

Anyone trying to reach a conclusion on the QB progress/battle is delusional. 20 minutes of butch-controlled media time is about as helpful as a jimmy hyams breaking news report.
