1st team defensive backs:
Corners: Sutton and Williams
Safeties: Randolph and McNeil
Nickel: Coleman
QBs practiced in this order.
Worley
Ferguson
Dobbs
Neal and Lane split first team reps.
Smith and Vereen are battling for 1 starting DE spot.
Fulmer spoke to the team today. Received a standing ovation for team and left Fulmer teary eyed.
EDIT: Riyahd Jones was the first player on the field today. Wore a green jersey and got a lot of reps today.

Not arguing with the CP's report... but I would be very surprised if Coleman isn't a starting CB in the base D. I could see that being an effective nickel package though.
IIRC, Thomas possesses very good speed but was considered "raw". It may take a good bit of coaching to get good things out of him.
Speed was a concern with Orta from the start. Some folks thought he was destined for LB even then.
i should link to the thread with the article in the pre season that ranked safeties in the sec, but that would be dangerous.

that ranking never made sense. i said so. got blasted for it.
At least from my point of view... it's usually not what you're saying but how you're saying it.
You're candid and you skirt condescension at times. Combine that with gator flair and there is why.
There are gator fans on here that aren't poorly received due to their flair... as well as Gamecock, Tide and Dawg fans. It's not the content, it's the delivery.
And it's the content sometimes.
