Finally - a real football team is at work. Finally.

Amen to that. And it's also scary to think about how much talent we have coming in during the summer. Like this already looks like a vastly improved team overall at a few positions, but we got Todd Kelly Jr, Vic Wharton, Dillon Bates and a lot of other guys who could contribute. Gaulden and McDowell. Big players are yet to add. It's exciting to think about.

Another report said Ferguson looked Sharp.

Looks like the media is the inconsistent one here.

I'd be interested in seeing that report, but the one that said Dobbs had the more consistent day is from TSR. Regardless of how anybody feels on Ainge, the guy knows QBs. I'd trust him with that at the very least. And, that report matches up with what's been said about Ferg all along, which is that while his individual flashes of potential are greater than those of the other 3, he doesn't display them consistently enough.

What is the big deal to make you put forth the effort to shake your damned head?

The big deal to me is that he obviously was given a hard time by whatever means. I guess I feel bad for him getting piled on for dropping a few balls in his freshman season.

I didn't hear the interview but hopefully it was said in a joking manner. If not, then he's obviously affected by it to say something like that.

I'm pulling for Josh, I think he has tremendous talent and can be an important contributor to our team this year.

*Pearson, Marquez North and Jason Croom continue to be the three receivers with the first group on offense, along with freshman tight end Ethan Wolf. Justin Worley was the first-team quarterback during Tuesday's walk-through. Riley Ferguson looked sharp throwing the ball during the periods of practice open for media viewing.

Here ya go

I've gone on record here multiple times saying that I really like Dobbs as a kid and as a representative of the University of Tennessee, but I'll support whoever wins the job. I honestly don't care if that's Tyler Page as long as whoever it is can get the job done. I probably will get some flack for it, but there's nothing wrong with asking for someone's source. I gave mine. Besides, if that's true, I want to read the rest of the report too.

Hooker wrote the report you posted, not Ainge, FWIW.

Yeah, I saw that. Ainge goes to the practices, though. I'm not saying he did or didn't write it, but it wouldn't have surprised me if a couple of them were there and Hooker posted the article.

Danny O'Brien said he's squatting 600+ but is shooting for 700. Wimp.

It was absolutely a joke and a good one at that.

I'm holding out till the O&W game. I doubt we will even know then. Ainge does know what he's talking about when it comes to QB's.

Agreed. I'm just excited that we'll finally have some Ferg college film to watch and discuss, even if its just the spring game.
