100% right on Georgia State could have been beaten with any one of us coaching that is not the problem. Has not been for a few years. Why players are not performing is a deeper issue than coaching on the sidelines.

I see comments like this from Fulmer is a bit of CYA (Cover Your A--). I think someone as experienced as Coach Fulmer saw some of the flashing caution signs from Pruitt's performance in Year 1 and was trying to minimize expectations to give Pruitt time to grow into a SEC HC.....

He said this at the very first O&W game.. And again this past year but I do not remember when that was.

If Pruitt were serious about getting his coaches in order, he'd fire Will Friend for not being able to figure out 5 starting olinemen before the first game, and Tracy Rocker for not even being able to teach the dline how to line up correctly. He's not though, cause he hires his friends like Ainsley who has zero experience as a defensive coordinator prior to Tennessee.

Practicing hard after a loss was what Fulmer always on the Vol Calls show. Nothing new here. Sad but I don’t think it will help this year. We got a good preview of what is to come for the rest of the season. Another long season again. The Fla, Ga, and Ala games will not be pretty! That is the sad fact!!! I am still a Vol fan, but they are making it hard with losing seasons year after year and I have been a Tn fan for over 50 years!!!

Did you watch the game Saturday, with the context of how the 2018 season ended vs Missouri and Vandy? No, there’s ZERO guarantee that the team will practice harder this week. Matter of fact, after what we’ve seen of this program, coaches and players, I think I can guarantee that they won’t.

This head coach is too damm laid back!! I'm surprised Pruitt didn't fall asleep at the press conference. What do you think Saban or Spurrier would have done if their teams performed like this?
