I'll be optimistic: kentucky, vandy, mizzou, auburn, south carolina.

Probably being overyly optimistic but that's what the offseason is for.

Kentucky and Auburn should be wins. Vandy will be good again and Mizzou should be much improved. South Carolina will be very good again. As will the remaining UF, Bama and UGA... so 2 with a possibility of three with an upset.

Two to 5 depending on how well the O install goes.

Mizzou still will not be caught up with SEC talent. They'll be about the same and UT would have beaten them badly with a legit DC.

UK will continue to struggle.

Auburn is not a good team but Malzahn inherits a decent roster.

I'm not a believe in Vandy. NCSU at 7-5 was the only team they beat with a winning regular season record. UT should beat them.

UT gets UF early in a game they'll probably not be expected to compete in. UF will lose some key contributors on both sides of the ball. They are vulnerable but it would be a major upset.

USCe loses alot of key contributors on D plus Lattimore.

UGA returns just about everyone on O and D except they lose their starting secondary. Along with Bama... they're likely losses.

I mention all these unlikely wins for one reason. IF Jones is "the guy" he's going to beat someone this fall that he isn't supposed to beat. If he doesn't then you can plan on going through the same junk in 2015.

So should having a defensive scheme in place for which most of our guys were recruited, one that promotes competence and, hopefully, significantly reduces the number of big plays surrendered.
