Maybe Fulmer can beat Urban this year! That game kills us year in and year out, because the loser has about a million to one chance of winning the East.

First of all Georgia has NOT improved that much
2nd of all Florida lost A LOT in the draft
and finally South Carolina will sneak up to 3rd in the east, while we take 1st

It was paper, rock scissors with the west......

:shaking2:
yeah, you could take the top 3 in either division and mix 'em up any way you want and make a case for 'em...i just think ARk is going to take a pretty big step back this year....4th in the West, maybe 3rd...but that's a big maybe.

ok.......challenge, seriously, i just threw a red flag at my computer..

what have improved on so much that now makes us the clear cut front runner? and what has UGA lost that ensures them to be below us?

and you're sleeping on FL.....they aren't going to suck.

They've lost some good players on defense and the reason I say we make 1st is because I truly believe we have the best team in the East, and not just b/c im a Vol fan

well, i certainly hope you're right........but from what i've seen, read, heard and all that........that just isn't the case. i wouldn't necessarily be shocked if we won the East, but i certainly don't think it's a sure thing either.

plus UF has lost A LOT, somehow I think i've mentioned this before, anyway they can't rely on Timmy to carry them

East:
1. Florida
2. (tie) Tennessee and Georgia
4. USC
5. Kentucky
6. Vandy

West:
1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Arkansas
4. Auburn
5. Miss. St.
6. Ole Miss

I don't think Florida is that much better than the rest of the East, but I don't think any of the East teams are good enough to beat them. I think Florida will lose 1 SEC game while both UT and Georgia will lose 2 and end up tied for second. LSU will win the West and Auburn will be a disappointment.

take a look at Auburn's road schedule and you'll see why I have them 4th in the West.

he won't have to. you're forgetting guys like percy harving and andre caldwell will be on the receiving end of hand offs/passes from him........it won't be a one man show.

we all know there will be a drop off defensively, you don't lose 9 starters and not have one.

but the quesiton is will this defense be like a KY defense or maybe an MSU defense? if it falls off that bad, then yeah, sure, they could be in trouble. but until i see it.......

Whereas we lost:

Meachem(big loss)
Swain(big loss)
Smith(decent loss)
Sears(big loss)
Ligon
Anderson
McBride(big loss)
McGlothlin
Stewart
Wade(big loss)
Wilhoit(big loss)

I would count Inky and Harrell but they were out for a majority of the year.

We lost around the same amount. I think we really addressed our losses well though. Just the same ole cliches, we have to win on the field.
