Preds playoffs

The most fun/intense experience I have ever had at any sporting event. I don't think anyone would have guessed the winner would be Spaling from Tootoo and Rinne. The building was in mayhem. That last seven minutes couldn't move fast enough. Man it feels great right now.

People that haven't been in that atmosphere need to go, regardless of their affinity for hockey.

It is impossible for us to play Chicago because Detroit has already won....we can potentially play all the remaining teams except Chicago.

While it's still up in the air for a while longer, anyone have feelings on one opponent being more preferable than the other?

Definitely Vancouver. They can't decide who to keep in the net and they have lost all momentum in their series. No way I would take a rested Detroit team over Vancouver right now.

Glad to see Jeff Miller shut the hell up and enjoy packing it in for the year. Picked a fight and got it shoved back up his arse. Enjoy your OFF-SEASON blog, douche.

That's a tough one...I want Detroit regardless of when it is, the semi's or the conference finals. Any team left in the west is going to be hard to beat.

As far as who we want next, it doesn't really matter. They are all good teams, that have alot of skill.

ok, got it:

Vancouver & San Jose win: preds play the Canucks; Canucks home ice

Vancouver & Los Angeles win OR Chicago & San Jose win: preds play Red Wings; Detroit home ice

Chicago & Los Angeles win: preds play Kings; Nashville home ice

so Canucks, Red Wings, or LA

Not me. I think we stand a better chance playing Vancouver and hoping Detroit slips up in their next series. I know we handled Detroit in the regular season, but the playoffs is a complete different animal.

We will play the higher seed between Vancouver and Detroit. No LA

I understand that completely...detroit is a whole new team in the playoffs. I just think it would be one hell of a series if it went that route and the Preds somehow pulled it off

Pekka actually looked human this series. I think that's a scary thought for our next opponent. Also, huge props to Jordin Tootoo. He played out of his mind this series. Love his relentless forechecking.

I have no doubt that it would be a knock-down dragout series with us and Detroit...i just don't think we win it in the end. It would be nice to bounce them out though

I kinda too feel that the Red Wings are one of those teams you just don't want to meet in a playoff unless you have to

Like having to play the Lakers early

We probably won't, but this just could be our year. Playing the presidents trophy winner is also scary.
