Detroit: @ 5-2 L, @ 3-2 W, 3-0 W, @ 4-1 W, 3-1 W, 4-3 OT L

Los Angeles: @ 4-1 L, 6-1 L, @ 5-2 W, 4-2 L

one of the Canucks goalies was hurt in the game's 3rd period; the other, who they were forced to put back in, seems to be having issues (local STL news called him "much maligned")

Not me. I think we stand a better chance playing Vancouver and hoping Detroit slips up in their next series. I know we handled Detroit in the regular season, but the playoffs is a complete different animal.

We handled the ducks in the regular season. And you see what the Preds did to them in the playoffs. This team knows what to expect in the playoffs, and have the defense to take out ANYONE left.

And like I said earlier Rinne looked human in this series. If he picks up his play we could go very far.

I know you are on a high after getting the the second round of the playoffs for the first time ever, but Detroit is a machine right now. They are playing their best hockey right now and I dont see how Nashville can overcome that. They will win a game, maybe two, but I see this series(if they end up playing) done in 5.

Lots of cocky, early season Predatards suddenly ready to dodge Detroit? Didn't see this coming.

They are as beatable as anybody.

Nashville and Detroit would be a good series, and I would rather see them next round than Vancouver. That said, I still think Detroit would take it. Nevertheless, it is probably the best potential matchup for the Preds, being a team they know and have played well this year

Wise comment considering Detroit is the only team to sweep their series in the first round. Detroit always has a veteran team that knows how to win in the playoffs. Vancouver is limping into their game 7, getting absolutely destroyed in game 4 and 5. I want the Predators to advance as far as they can, so I am hoping we get a tired, broken Canuck team over a well-rested, experienced Detroit.

Have you seen their PK? Trust me, we can be beaten.

So what east coast team do you bandwagon fan for? I see west coast niners, northern red wings, midwest cubs. Don't you need a SE or east coast team to "follow"?

God forbid anyone having a team outside of the SE

The Preds have Tootoo, Spaling and Smithson....bring on all comers :)

I'm so glad that hearing "Here is Teemu Selanne" and his Molestache are headed back to Cali for good. FTR, I say bring on Vancouver.

+1000. As a hockey fan I hope he doesn't retire, he's still a fantastic player. But as a Predators fan I'm so glad we don't have to play him anymore. I came to expect him to score, especially on the powerplay. We have to improve greatly in that area for round 2 if we want to play very long.

Ah yes, the jealous fan. These are the best. Neither the Cubs nor 49ers have done anything of note in the last 100 and 17 years respectively, so I'm not sure what this bandwagon is you speak of.

My allegiances have been explained on the board ad naseum. If you are not capable of finding any of those explanations, then it's your problem, not mine.
