Premiere League & World Soccer Thread

Wow, Scotland or Ukraine have to play twice, this week and Wales played like over a month ago. That's just weird. I don't know if it's an advantage, as long as the winner doesn't play a marathon match or get some one hurt, I would rather play twice in one week than be idle for over month. But, it may be an advantage for an old guy like my boy, Bale

I think Wales also played today vs. Poland, but it was not a must-have game, only a "friendly" so they got to rest some of their main guys.

I doubt Bale can make it through an entire match given the situation with his back injury. I guess Wales has to play him and hope he can make some magic happen but he's gonna be a liability if UKR can get the first goal.

Hell, when did Bale hurt his back ? He looked great against Austria and only played like 9 minutes since that game for Wales. Plus, we all know Real Madrid barely even played him and not at all, lately

I turned it on right after it so I haven’t even seen it yet, but looked at ESPN app to see who had scored it and they gave credit to Bale.
They went back and changed it to an OG. Was pretty clearly a cross.

Not sure how I want to see this one go. For sentimental reasons, Ukraine is hard to root against, but they look like the better team and I’m not sure that would be good for the US.

I think either team will be tough for us so I’m torn on who to root for.

Man, for some reason, I thought the game started at 3 est. So, I missed the entire first half, but I'm watching, now

The Dragons and probably the coolest flag on Earth return to the World Cup for the first time in 64 years
