You can actually join at anytime, even after the first weeks fixtures have been played. You just will have a weeks less worth of points than the other players for the remainder of the season and will be in a small deficit to start. For Gameweek 1 the cut off is Friday at 1:30pm EST. For the entire season the cutoff for any changes/transfers/etc. is always 90 minutes prior to the first matches kickoff. There is a page called ‘deadlines’ under the ‘rules’ section on the premier league site that lists all of the times and dates for each weeks submission. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I'll get it set up sometime Friday morning to make sure I'm in before the first week of matches.

I’m glad we had a few join as well. It is much easier to manage than a season of fantasy football in my opinion. Even if someone has small to limited knowledge about the Premier League or soccer in general, they can still compete and field a solid squad with a very limited amount of time spent on the app/site.

For anyone that did or may join in the future, I would recommend a quick glance over the rules and scoring. Things like Captiancy and stuff will be a little new to those mostly that are fantasy football folks.

Sounds like Cucurella from Brighton to Chelsea is close to happening. City wanted him as well, but weren't willing to meet the ask for him.

Quite a bit of moving parts with it. Sounds like he mostly wants a shot at a bigger club and more $. Brighton got him for 15 last year, City offered 30 or so, Brighton said give us 50, City said ehhhh and then Chelsea apparently said 50? let’s talk.

Yeah I’m a fan of this signing. Can play LWB/LB/LCB. He’s honestly a bit of a Swiss Army knife. Great defensively but has nice speed and ball progression too. He didn’t get asked to push as far upfield with BHA than he will at Chelsea so I think his offensive numbers will look better this year than last as well.

City wanted to pay 40M and BHA wanted 50M. City wasn’t willing to go higher which I thought was surprising because Pep really wanted him. Chelsea ended up paying 55M I think. BHA really wanted one of our young CBs on a permanent and we said no, so BHA than raised the price to 55M 😂
