Premiere League & World Soccer Thread

Anybody got a good link to stream European soccer matches? The WC, combined with CFB's coming wind down, has me interested in watching more games.
ESPN+ carries a good bit of games. Liverpool vs Man City comes on in 10 minutes. Paramount+ has a few of the leagues too. As for free streams, I’m not sure.

This seems like a large, energetic crowd. I thought they didn't really care all that much about this competition!
First time that’s ever been said about The Etihad, lol.

Seriously though, this is viewed as a lesser competition than both the Premier League and the FA Cup, but this is for a place in the QF’s, so teams start to take it more seriously now, especially today when the winner can could clear their toughest obstacle to winning the whole thing. Also, this is City’s game in a month and a half, so no surprise people were ready to get back to attending matches.

Is their fanbase still relatively small, given that they are new money?

Both sides are about 2/3 first teamers. No Ederson, Walker, Stones or Foden for City. No Alison, Henderson, Fabinho or Firmino for Liverpool.

I noticed no Foden and Stones. Completely forgot about Walker. I thought Firmino and Henderson were usually super subs. At least all the times Chelsea player Liverpool last year those two didn’t start. I guess Fabinho is back healthy, I didn’t even consider him.

It’s kind of tough with either of these squads, considering that both have nearly twenty players that you could classify as “first teamers”.

Their fanbase certainly doesn’t rival Man Utd, but they also have plenty of support to fill The Etihad week in and week out. Often, it’s more that their fans have gotten spoiled by winning basically every game for the past decade, so they don’t always fill it up for lesser opposition.

City gotta be massive favorites to win the League Cup now. Newcastle and Leicester the toughest other teams left in the competition.

Also, great game from De Bruyne today. Seems he rediscovered how to play the minute he took that Belgium shirt off at the WC.

I was only able to watch a little bit of Belgium in the WC, but he did not seem like the same player at all.

Peacock will be your go to for EPL. They carry pretty much every game on there.
Paramount+ for Champions League. Champions league is great for a casual fan or someone relatively new to the sport. Only the best teams in Europe qualify and you get to see the best club teams in the world compete against each other.
ESPN+ carries bundesliga and the two cups in England. Bundesliga is very entertaining but it’s generally a 1 team league for the title. I believe La Liga has a deal with ESPN+ too but I don’t watch much outside of El Classico

ESPN+ for La Liga and Bundesliga 1 and 2
Peacock for half of EPL
Paramount+ for CL, Serie A, Scottish Premier, Argentine and Brazil Leagues as well

City only started the game with 4 starters. They didn't start their entire defensive back-line of Ederson, Cancelo, Walker, Dias or Stones. They started Gundogan over Bernardo. They started Cole Palmer over Foden. Marhez is a push since neither he nor Grealish is grabbing the position. I could see J Alvarez taking that spot or even Bernardo moving up top. The only true starters were De Bruyne, Rodri, and Haaland (plus I'll give you Mahrez). Liverpool started Matip, Robertson, Thiago, Salah, and Nunez. Still a great game and both teams brough on excellent subs.
