I am always amazed for how short the offseason is for the good teams. City played a game less than a week ago and the next EPL season starts in early August. And that's in a year where there isn't a WC or Euros.

This season ran a week or two long because of the WC being moved to November, and next season is starting a week earlier than usual because they’ve added the winter break in January. Still, your point pretty much stands. Barely any downtime for these guys. Preseason tours and friendlies are barely a month away.

Don’t expect a revamped Chelsea squad the way this window is starting off…
I think Chelsea will be 20+ points better this year when the offload players and have an offseason. They just had too many options and only 11 can play. Breaks up the culture of the locker room and is impossible for new coach to sort out in season. Poch will get it turned around quickly.

Oh, it’ll revamped in that sense, but I was mainly referring to the quality of the revamp. Getting rid of players is what we want to do. The problem is as it looks like right now we are going to lose key contributors like Mount and Havertz, but keeping some of the others because we can’t offload the deadweight. That is not a recipe for immediate success.

When can we start setting up next seasons Fantasy league? Can we just reuse the one we just finished?
Over the last 7 years, the average release of the official FPL is 35 days prior to the first match. So most likely in early July it will be open. We can set it up again soon after. Hopefully we can have another good turnout now that a good number of people have an idea of how it works.

Just imagine how much Haaland is going to cost next year, or how much someone like a Rashford is going to have their price increase. I always enjoy seeing price changes and what positions they have people listed as.

I botched my EPL team by making several mistakes.
1. I mistakenly thought the wild card, triple captain, and bench boost were refreshed after mid-season. They did that in my past leagues.
2. I started tinkering too much with lineup vs sticking with original team. Basically turned it into day trading.
3 Too heavily invested in top squads playing in both domestic and European competition.
I started chasing and that’s when I knew it was over.
Your number 3 point is what makes it so difficult, yet fun to manage. When you throw in Euros and Cups and double Gameweek, you never know who is going to play a full 90 the last month of the season.

Do the players prices stay the same throughout the year?

No, they go up and down throughout the year based of how many thousands added and dropped them. For instance in week 1 Haaland was 11.5 but if you tried to buy him Gameweek 38 he would be 12.4

Ha-F'ing-HAH. I love that diving Norway just lost that game to spunky Scotland. Shame be to the whiney-azz announcers for implying that Norway shoulda dove more instead of honestly staying on their feet on earlier plays.

Arsenal have agreed a deal worth up to £67.5 million ($85.8m) to sign Chelsea forward Kai Havertz, sources have told ESPN.

I think Havertz will do well playing as a left or right mid next to Odergaard. He just has such peaks and valleys in his confidence though that Arteta will have to man manage him well. I’d prefer he would have stayed a year to see how he kicks on with Poch but 67 million dollars when that’s essentially what we paid for? Ha, I’ll take that all the way to the bank.

Also, to be fair, I think playing Havertz as a second attacking mid only works if you have a destroyer back as a lone CDM/6. If Arsenal fail to land Declan Rice and Partey leaves as expected.. I just don’t know where Havertz fits in to that line up.

It's fascinating to me that Liverpool has never won the EPL, but has had a lot of success in Europe. They were dominant in the old First Division right up until the EPL was created, then it's like Man United just took over.

Man United is a storied club, but it's amazing how much of that history has been in the EPL era alone. They've won 20 domestic league titles in their history, 13 of them after 1992.
stool fans sit in their cells thinking about us all day. crime doesnt pay. well, stealing stereos may pay, but not for a football club.

ESPN overpaid for SEC and certainly for ACc content.

Imagine if they carried something other than occasioal Europa League match, on ESPN Plus. Get rid of professional softball and curling.

ESPN+ carries both of Englands domestic cups, the Bundesliga and La Liga. Not positive if they carry every Bundesliga or La Liga match, but they cover a lot of them.

Harry Kane to Bayern? Please make it happen!
Feels like a weird move if you’re Kane. Yes, he will almost be guaranteed to get a trophy because Bayern owns the Bundesliga, but feels hollow. Now, if he won the CL with them, then that’s different. Ultimately though he’s only like 40ish goals shy of the PL record for most goals. Would be a shame to see him leave and not get that.

Spurs better hope he goes there though. Not only do they not have to see him in the PL but if they don’t sell this summer than they lose a lot of $$ when he leaves on a free next summer.
