I can't help but wonder that it isn't a coincidence that this huge dip in form began right around when the smoke around him potentially leaving got real thick. They've continued to suck after he signed the extension though.I wouldn’t write them off just yet. They’re still probably the most talented team in the PL. But this definitely feels like the most precarious position they’ve been in during Pep’s tenure.
It's wild that they supposedly haven't even made him an offer. Not that he got an offer and they're lowballing him, but no offer yet period.I didn't get to watch live and was disappointed Liverpool dropped points, but man the Newcastle game was exciting.
Salah's performance is another giant middle finger to Liverpool's front office as well. Absolutely have to find a way to keep this man. All he does is score goals and facilitate goals.
I still want to think City could probably sleepwalk to a top four finish if they tried, but even that's starting to look pretty suspect.I still think that Pep is unsackable, but I’m beginning to wonder if he makes it to the end of this season without simply walking away. This run since the end of October, 8 losses and only 1 win from 11 played, is completely unprecedented in his career.
Something has to be amiss in the locker room there. Do they know what the FFP penalties are already or something?I still think that Pep is unsackable, but I’m beginning to wonder if he makes it to the end of this season without simply walking away. SMH. As if fixture congestion wasn't already a thing. Maybe they can get Greg Norman to come consult and help eligible teams choose which competitions they want to participate in. For as much as Madrid win the Champions League, they sure seem to want to be not in it. Wouldn't shock me at all that Perez just looks at it as leverage with UEFA and they want a bigger split of UCL TV money.Super League revived as 96-team 'Unify League'

Is it just me, or does it seem totally lost on the organizers of these proposed competitions that there isn't really a demand for them? The only way this moves forward is if a benefactor wants to bankroll this themselves and doesn't have a profit motive, a la LIV. Who actually wants to watch this?Super League revived as 96-team 'Unify League'
