I think that part was just the straw that broke the camel's back. Oliver let Slot say what he had to say initially, but probably sent him off because he came back for a second go at it.
7) It was reported by the Referee that following the full-time whistle, he was approached by LFC’s Arne Slot (“AS”) who had entered the field of play to confront the Referee and the Match Officials team. Tensions were running high. It was alleged that AS’ manner was confrontational and aggressive. It was alleged that he initially used abusive words whilst shaking the Referee’s hand including that the Referee had “****ing give them everything ”and that AS hoped that the Referee “was proud of that performance.” The Referee thereafter confirms (having reviewed the video footage to clarify) that he was approached again by AS around one minute later. In this exchange, AS once again shook the Referee’s hand and said “if we don’t win the league, I’ll ****ing blame you.” It is then further alleged that AS turned to the Assistant Referee and shouted twice that it was “a ****ing disgrace. ”As a result of AS’ conduct, he was shown a red card by the Referee.

Pretty decent chance now that we don’t see any EPL teams in the semis. Tough matchups for both Arsenal and Villa.

I’m with you, I saw nothing that made me think it definitely hit his foot.

PSG looked really good in both legs against Liverpool.

I’ve seen some frame by frame shots today and I can see the slight double touch. So it technically might be the right call, it’s just a **** rule imo.

Liverpool fans really going through it at the moment with the Trent Alexander Arnold news. At least they’ll have a nice shiny PL trophy in a couple months to ease their pain.

Freaking Real Madrid though. They aren’t afraid to pay the high fee for what they want but the amount of times they get some of these world class players on a free is maddening. If you have a player that’s on the last year of a deal, and Real Madrid come at you with a fee for him, just go ahead and take it because more than likely your player is already gone. Wild the pull they have.
