I think the Vols basketball team will surprise some people this year. Think we will be a higher seed.

I'd love to face L'ville in Lexington in the 2nd round but if we are a 9 seed, we've had a very dissapointing season. Anything more than 5 is unacceptable IMO. Also, no way Duke gets stuck in the San Jose region lol

I believe we will be slotted for some type of drama no matter the seeding. I envision that Purdue showing up in our bracket if possible for some story lines with Cuonzo. Much like had Buzz not lost in his conference championship game his first year at Coastal Carolina we would have played them instead of Winthrop.

I didn't realize the baseketball team had negavols before the season started... You do realize we got probably our best player on the team after those games right?

Some folks just can't help but be negative. And don't use logic, like Stokes arriving after those games, it just confuses people.

I thought the would at least wait until we beat one of the first teams we play by 34 instead of 70.. thats when they really act like the world is coming to an end.

I really think our basketball team will be sitting higher than a 9. and this is not like football optimism, we can realistically expect a lot with Cuonzo at the helm.

I think you're all crazy if you think a 9 seed for the Vols this year would be a disappointment.

8-10 seed is exactly where I can see UT fitting in. I'd rather have a 10 seed than a 9 to be honest.

Reason is this....very simple.

Expectations for team by 99% of board is to be a top 25 team. A top 25 team is likely getting a 5-7 seed at worst.

You know my feelings about that word. Lots of stuff can happen between now and March, good and bad.

To be only 2 years out from Pearlgate, and back in the dance, UT fans should be very satisfied.

I don't care what seed we are as long as we are in the tourney. Anything cam happen once we are in the tourney!
