You know we already had an agency handling this revenue collection, right? It's not like it wasn't happening. This is just all for show (and apparently it's working).

For the sake of nationalism and show, we need to raise tariffs, thus further increasing consumer prices, and we also need a whole new agency to do what we were already doing in collecting those tariffs....and this is news that has some people claiming "one of the greatest days in American history." Good grief, what happened to the right?

Sort of. I would not say it was anything smart that Obama did, it's just the nature of things for the economy to bounce back as long as you don't mess it up too much. Trump did in fact inherit an economy that was showing GDP growth. Trump made lots of mistakes, and by year 3 GDP was still growing but that's only because his government was spending so much....so it was a fake economy.

The reason I asked is because at some point a President has to take ownership of their time in office. There is definitely a cut off when blame is warranted and credit is due.
