The post does not say or imply what he seemed to want out of it, so he manufactured a problem. He does not care about his fellow American, he has repeatedly done this. What these State and local officials have been doing is illegal under the Laws of the U.S. as a generalization i.e. harboring.

Why would your tax dollars go to provide incentive for a criminal to continue to commit a crime?

What the mayor is doing in that instance if they are aware is a federal crime, the local administrator once he/she knows could be a party in a federal crime. Most likely felonies.

Do you think that when they boast they are tolerant that they mean they are tolerant of political ideas/politicians that they hate? That's not what they mean. They mean they are tolerant of your skin color, orientation, etc.

I have to say that I agree with you here. Problem is that the left has expanded federal power to such a ridiculous extent over the last 20 years (yes, Bush is part of the left) that it has completely emasculated the idea of states' rights.

They are tolerant only of ideas and worldviews that agree with their own. There is no room for debate with the left because they believe they are morally correct on every issue. I've never had a discussion with a hardcore leftist that didn't end with them either shouting, calling names, or leaving, and it's usually all three.

As for their tolerance of skin color, have you ever seen a conservative black or Hispanic person that thinks for themselves who wasn't savaged by the left because they didn't have the plantation mentality and just fall in line? Tolerance has its limits, I suppose.

As if these leftist Governors would actually be doing it for the sake of States rights. We’ve got the last 85 years as evidenced to the contrary. They may do it in the name of States rights (even that’s doubtful) but you and I both know that’s the last damn thing they care about. Only when they are faced with not holding the highest Federal Government offices do they even utter the words “States rights”.

That should almost never be the reason a governor does anything. The motivation should be some other benefit, with states' rights being the mechanism that allows them to do it. JFC, people!
