I think it would be great for one of these governors to beat back federal attempts at forcing states to enforce immigration laws. It will just make it easier for a governor to be successful at beating back other federal laws being enforced in that state.

it doesn't have to be that way, with a guillotine or death. and it certainly wouldn't be the first choice, but it would be effective at making change. whether it ends up being a good change or not remains to be seen.
