Its in Denver. He works and goes to the gym up there, church is there too. His soon to be wife also works up that way at a place she is likely to stay a long time. He is a clinical psychologist (primarily pediatric) and already sees patients but he works in an older ladies practice with 3 or 4 other lady therapists. He doesnt make much money now, but as his clientele increases he should be able to make a pretty good living. His fiancée makes pretty good money already for her age. They started "dating" in 10th grade and have been together for 6 years...neither has ever had another gf/bf. Its sweet honestly and I am very happy for him. He probably outkicked his coverage a little. Happy for them obviously they are both 23. Its pitiful what $250k will buy you in the Charlotte area these days though as you likely know well...

Birthright citizenship has been good for the US. The children of immigrants, no matter where they come from or how they got here, on average do very well (employment, income, paying taxes, starting families). Our birth rate is declining. Our labor force is getting upside down (in terms of how many people it has to support with retiring boomers collecting SS and Medicare). I can't imagine what our economy would look like right now without birthright citizenship the last 40 years. We'd be absolutely ****ed.

Sounds like an entitlement pyramid scheme in which we'll eventually be absolutely, super-duper, royally ****ed.
