I don't believe the deportations are at the level they are stopping people 1 at a time and asking...they are doing raid on houses etc...so say there is 5 know. Illegals in a house and 3 citizens, do you feel the citizens need to identify themselves if asked,??? Keep in mind harboring an illegal is a criminal offense.

for the raid on the house, I am assuming ICE has a warrant? If they do have a warrant I have no issue with the citizens having to identify themselves. nothing requires them to snitch, assuming they did know.

That's is what most here are using as thier basis for these deportation raids...not single stops on the street, if that happens you'll see an update I complaints...till then everyone is just talking past each other...even knowing they are illegal is criminal...along with house and transporting.....if someone is living with you it it assumed you know they are illegal or not.. especially as most are relatives..

they are basing that on an assumption. no one has ACTUALLY gone in and looked at how each of these arrests went down.

for me, my default is to push for the liberties we have, and to distrust the government. so yeah I am going to assume the worst based on the history of this country and its governments actions. and I do so regardless of who is in charge or what they are doing.
