Fair enough. I can appreciate that response. I admit that, while I understand broad economic theory, I don’t get into the weeds with it.Trump's so called mandate to China was so outrageous, they decide to buy their high volume farm products elsewhere. Billions were paid to farmers right out of our $$$$$. In case you don't know it, that's a recipe for inflation. We were also suffering from imports of steel in our automotive industry as the other side of the bush league negotiations. Long before COVID, we had automotive employees in furlough, getting paid as usual. Paid by government handouts, because of Trump's incompetent trade negotiations

Spiteful politics is unsuccessful politics. We are just alienating one another even further. It doesn’t take much imagination to see if Democrats want to retaliate if/when they regain power they will force churches to pay taxes, strict gun laws, pushing universal healthcare, etc… does nobody else see where this is headed? Again, governing out of spite is not a successful strategy.
I hope you're right. Tired of conserving eggs. I like my pickled eggs and hard boiled eggs for snacks. They are so expensive I feel like those are luxuries and I only use them for scrambled/fried for breakfast now.
Nope. Never. My goodness, who started “spiteful politics”?
And good luck getting any of that passed, however I do believe churches and all charities should pay local property taxes.
Nope. Never.
You give the government the ability to tax religion, you give the government the power to control religion. That is a hard no. A revolutionary no. A “worse than taxing tea” no.
I may love my country, but my country is not my god.
There's been mass culling of chickens for "Bird flu (yawn) for months now. Then you get weird crap like this from a few weeks ago.I hope you're right. Tired of conserving eggs. So is wasn't Kamala and her inflationary policies like JD said? There's been mass culling of chickens for "Bird flu (yawn) for months now. Then you get weird crap like this from a few weeks ago.

Avian influenza outbreak in Georgia halts sale of poultry, forces quarantine
The first case of avian flu in a commercial poultry operation has been found, according to the Georgia Department of Agriculture.www.fox5atlanta.com
I was at the local Publix a couple weekends ago on a Sunday morning and they were completely out of eggs and chicken breasts. Never seen anything like it. Got some chicken yesterday though. There are forces out there f'ing with the chickens and I'm not a fan. Egg prices can't come down until theres more chickens of course. Weird.
Year-to-year?US agriculture exports to China look pretty steady from 2016 to 2020.

If it is a church worth a dern, they give more than they’d pay.Churches should pay local property taxes. These palaces are sitting on prime real estate and paying nothing into the infrastructure needed for their access and upkeep
What else would you expect from DonnieChristians Furious as Trump Appoints 'heretic' Preacher to Lead White House Faith Office
Donald Trump has sparked a backlash from leading Christians over his appointment of a controversial televangelist to the White House.
The president on Friday signed an executive order to open a White House Faith Office to be led by Paula White, his longtime spiritual adviser.
But the move sparked fury from Christian leaders who believe that White, a megachurch pastor from Florida, preaches an interpretation of the gospel that critics argue exploits the most vulnerable.
White teaches followers that God will reward them if they donate to her church, going as far as to suggest precise sums over a thousand dollars to ensure their 'salvation'.
'She preaches the heresies of Word of Faith & Prosperity Gospel, both utterly opposed to authentic Christianity. Worse, she has lived a life of scandal, with multiple husbands, twisting the Gospel for profit.'
Ross, an Orthodox Christian leader based in Texas, went as far as to argue that White's appointment was the 'worst and most dangerous thing' Trump could have done.
'Lord, have mercy on our country and this administration,' he wrote on X.
Christian blogger Chris Hohnholz wrote on X: 'Not every choice he makes will be a home run, we understand that. But this? This is a train wreck. @realDonaldTrump, sir, you need to reverse course on this ASAP. Not only is Paula White not biblically qualified to be a pastor, she is a false teacher leading people to Hell. Do not do this, sir.'
The pastor implored her flock: 'So click on and minimize that screen and right now sow your miracle resurrection seed as we stand in faith together and I believe God for your miracle.'
The prosperity gospel has been rejected as unbiblical and heretical by almost all Christian scholars and theologians, including evangelicals.
