No amnesty for anybody that didn’t wait their turn to be processed.
End the anchor baby incentive.
Ramp up the screening process and bring in more fully vetted immigrants as long as there are opportunities for them to contribute to society and tge economy.
Be tough on crime. Build more prisons if necessary.
I don't agree. You can argue that the children born from parents here temporarily or illegally are subject to the jurisdictions of their parent's country. Just like children born in the country to foreign citizens as they are citizens of their foreign country. It's not unclear at all. This is more ridiculous than when gun grabbers claim the 2A was only meant for the states to have militias.
If he is doing it to root out corruption, I agree. If he is doing it as payback, I do not. As long as there is evidence of corruption, and I do recognize that payback and corruption can coincide, I am all for it.First thing Trump should do now is put out a statement telling all offices of the Federal Government that he will be performing a full audit of all actions taken against himself over the past 8 years and telling all agencies to preserve all relevant records and documents. Give a hotline number for whistleblowers to report any attempts by their agency to destroy or hide said documents
Anybody in the US is subject to the laws of the US.I don't agree. Maybe if they're diplomats but otherwise they are subject to us jurisdictionI don't agree. Why not? The executive branch is given very broad powers when it comes to the border and security, and the 14th hasn't really been tested on this matter (re: illegal immigrants). Logically it's hard to say extending American rights to whoever wants them, actual citizen or not, is sensible or the intent of the Constitution in any way.
In the end you can't say he doesn't have the power to do it when nobody has actually tried or debated it out in an actual legal way.
