Not completely unbelievable as there have been layoffs already happening. My wife's company has had several rounds in the last couple of weeksThis is dumb. You want to blame the market tanking bc of Trump's nonsense on tariffs then that's fair. Shoppers are not struggling at dollar general bc of anything Trump has done in the two months he's been in office.
If there was a Disney movie where a wicked witch turned a horse into a woman, I imagine AOC would be the model for that character--down to the crazy eyes, habitual look of confusion and almost-rational vocabulary strung together. Not sure about “hot”. She’s cute. Maybe pretty. Since we all know she’s bats*** crazy we’ll just say smashable.

MASSIVE layoffs in tech as well. But on the other end of the scale, I'd imagine paid-protestor jobs have increased. (Better come with good medical benefits in case you set yourself on fire.)Layoffs were happening the last 6 months of 2024. UPS, FedEx and several others announced pretty big layoffs last spring and summer.

Except these are new to her company and haven't been happening for the past few months. They are very tied into the building sector (res and commercial). She was told is likely related to their stock dropLayoffs at USAID & DoE aren’t impacting Dollar General.
Corporate layoffs have been going on for 6-12 months now. International Paper has been through 3 rounds in the last year.

I'm total sure no government funds are being used for this.
TDS doesn't appear to be curable, see Luther. EDS is still in the early phase but based on huff, it probably isn't curable either.
He isn't remotely serious. He's trolling the hell out of everybody that gets their panties twisted over this. Moreover, he has ya'll all apoplectic over that while he's getting other real shiz done. They call him an idiot, yet he is pushing thru the agenda with lightning speed. It's awesomeDo you think there are any benefits gained from annexing Canada? If so, what are they?
I've been in real estate Development since the early 90s. I got out of Residential about 4 years ago. Have Commercial property in the Chattanooga area. I thought it was the best I'd every bought when purchased.Virtually no lookers. I've been told things are dead in Knxville, Chatt, and memphis. Good in Nashville.Except these are new to her company and haven't been happening for the past few months. They are very tied into the building sector (res and commercial). CEOs of large companies answer to cutting cost usually seems to be laying off employees. Essential or not. Not unlike what is going on at the Fed govt now.I’ve never understood using stock prices as an excuse for layoffs. Either you were running the business inefficiently and didn’t care because you’re stock price was where you wanted it to be or you’re going to hurt your business by canning essential people.
