Second time today I've been called maga (albeit from questionable sources). Can you point out where I've ever been in support of whatever you define as maga?

BTW the wins you listed are simply not real. You can't fire someone, give them their job back a year later and call that growth

systematic institutional racism from the Democrats. take your pick from abortion, gun laws, war on drugs, generational welfare, you ain't black if you don't vote for a Democrat. treating a group of individuals like they are the same because of their skin color is a good way to make them dependent on the government, and thus remain in poverty. always blaming someone else ensures that instead of focusing on improving yourself you sit around and just blame others.

the current identity politics is certainly not based on an idea of improving anyone/everyone. the steal from the rich/equity bs is just another lottery system designed to take advantage of the poor by selling them on the idea that it helps them. but in the equity bs there is no big single payout so they don't even have to deliver tangible results to say they did their job.

you also have a very long history, going back to the early 1800s, of predatorial lending practices to ensure the south never developed; as well as northern monopolies that killed any competition from the south.

for the power generation. the earliest example you have is from the 1930s, and it really only helped out a small area of the south. the next example you have is from 40 years later in the 70s.

hardly a resounding reply.

the education angle is similar, the earliest examples you have are from the 60s. that is hardly the generational set up required to try and get real returns on investments. and here in the south we have Mark Twain to give us a good quote "I never let schooling interfere with my education". just because you are stuck in a classroom spoon fed a one size fits all education doesn't mean you are actually learning.

you are getting into a chicken and the egg situation with the mason dixon line, and the differences in red states vs blue states. The south was always poor, the north has worked to keep it that. the south was more rural, the red states outside of the south are more rural than their neighbors. the same practices tested on the south were employed in those other states.

it also didn't start as a political red vs blue; it was always urban vs rural. the politics of each have changed over time, but the end result has always been the urban power centers putting pressure on the feds to maintain control of the rural areas. it keeps wealth flowing from the rural areas to the urban centers. you could flip the colors of each region, and you have the same results, politics in this argument is a red herring. useful for dividing, but it hides the truth.
