President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Yes, as do France and Singapore off the top of my head. I think Israel too.

None of those countries support slavery or apparently view compulsory military service as slavery. Whether compulsory service is a good idea or not, we do seem to have a problem with people wanting the country to do for them and not what can they do for their country; and that doesn't seem nearly so prevalent an attitude in places like Switzerland.

Probably not in Switzerland. It is in Singapore. Maybe there's no correlation.

It's actually covered under the 12th Amendment as you stated... sort of:

Which speaks to who can actually hold the office. The thing is, an argument could be made about a legal loophole... The 22nd speaks to the election of a President and Vice President. Constitutionally, Obama cannot run again.

"Elected to the office of the President and Vice President..."

It does not address whether or not a former President could be nominated and confirmed to the office of Vice President (in a Vice Presidential absence) since any vacancy is an act of the Senate. Which is a technicality since there is no election involved for that position.

Hypothetically, Joe could have had Kamala removed on day 2 of his Presidency, nominated Obama to fill in as his VP and it would go to the Senate for a confirmation, they turn around and either 25th Joe or he resigns and, Barack Obama becomes the 47th President of the United States.

Without ever being elected just like Gerald Ford. So, technically Obama could assume the office of President since he meets the Constitutional requirements to hold the position (35 years old, US citizen, 14 years a resident) but not having been elected. Hence, no violation of the 22nd Amendment since he wasn't elected to the office.

Now, I'm pretty positive the SCOTUS would intervene and have to rule on such a thing, but then they start talking about the "spirit" of the 12th and 22nd Amendments which opens up it's own can of worms.

It couldn't have happened on Day 2 because of the 22nd. Two terms or 10 years. If something happened to Joe before serving 2 years, and Obama was elevated to office, he'd violate the 22nd amendment.

Didn't a bunch of former intelligence officials write a letter basically saying Hunter's laptop was a Russian ploy? But now the laptop has been authenticated? Remember when Trump took heat for questioning our intelligence people? Maybe there was some merit to that questioning after all? Just an observation, but it's hard to trust America's intelligence agencies when politics have obviously taken root in them. They're just as involved in shaping narratives as actual politicians and the media. The corruption in government runs deep. The American people need to wake up and stop being sheep. Both parties are pulling strings to amass more power and erode individual rights.

Yes, but if legal they will still have a serial number on them.

Banning ghost guns is redundant. It's already illegal to have a non-serialized weapon.
It's illegal to buy or sell non serialized weapons. Not sure if self made is covered, misunderstanding is that self made isnt covered.

Essentially they use the commerce cause to push gun control. But something like a Luty shouldnt be covered.

It has seemed for a very long time that the role of intelligence agencies is not to find truth; it's to find fact that supports a position. In the case of an outsider president or one about to be out of favor, it's probably safe to assume that the position needing support won't even be that of the president. Your assessment that DC is just a very corrupt assortment of self serving bureaucracies is right on the money. The one overriding factor is that every bureaucracy has power, survival, and empire building as primary goals; any thought of meaningful contribution is secondary at best.

West Texas Border Agents Find Adult Migrants Posing as Children

El Paso Sector Border Patrol officials report a trend where adult migrants attempt to pass themselves off as unaccompanied minors. The agents uncovered 23 such attempts so far this fiscal year.

El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Gloria Chavez tweeted a report revealing an encounter with a male Guatemalan migrant. Chavez said the adult migrant attempted to pass himself off as a 17-year-old boy, presumably to take advantage of Biden Administration policies for unaccompanied minors.

EXCLUSIVE: Two fake Homeland agents - one 'with ties to Pakistani intelligence and multiple Iranian visas' - spent 18 months 'infiltrating and buying gifts for Jill Biden's Secret Service detail' in luxury DC building where they all lived and partied

The two men arrested in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday who attempted to cozy up to Secret Service agents could face conspiracy charges after spending their year-and-a-half living in a luxury apartment building allegedly posing as federal agents with the Department of Homeland Security.

Just a mile from the Capitol and three miles from the White House, Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Sher-Ali, 36, were conducting an operation where they posed as agents with Homeland Security Investigations – tricking a luxury DC apartment building and its high profile residents as well as appearing to convince Metro Police Department that they were working for the government.

The question remains, however, on what Ali and Taherzadeh's motives were in getting close to people with White House access by impersonating government agents and who was funding their lavish lifestyle and slew of gifts.

Taherzadeh and Ali are said in the affidavit to have successfully ingratiated themselves with Secret Service agents, at least two of whom were reportedly given rent-free in penthouse and multiple-bedroom luxury apartments as well as high-end electronics and policing equipment.

The free rent in several units – valued at a minimum of $40,000 per year for just one of the penthouse apartments – was apparently not paid for at all.

Biden administration slammed for Giving ‘cell phones’ to illegal immigrants: ‘OUTRAGEOUS’

The Biden administration was slammed on Twitter over plans to give illegal immigrants cell phones after they’ve entered the country and are awaiting immigration court proceedings.

On April 6, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed illegal immigrants are receiving "electronic devices," including cell phones, so that the administration can "track" and "check in" with them.

Conservatives on Twitter were quick to slam the program, saying that the administration should be "securing the border" rather than accommodating people who migrate into the United States illegally.

He wrote, "American tax dollars are funding Biden’s mass illegal immigration. First, it’s debit cards and cell phones. Then, it's hotels, air travel, education, and heath care. It never ends, and it’s destroying the American Dream for those legally waiting their turn."

Good thing knowing the swamp has all this stuff under control. We can always sleep better at night knowing they've got our backs. Blue on blue in case anyone missed the sarcasm.

A motion for detention of the two men who were arrested Wednesday for impersonating federal agents includes a slew of damning evidence, including images showing several different passports, visas and IDs.

The prosecutors are requesting Arian Taherzadeh, 40, and Haider Sher-Ali, 35, be detained due to a slew of evidence found in a raid of their units in a luxury apartment building in southeast Washington, D.C.

Taherzadeh told law enforcement in an interview after being taken into custody on Wednesday that Ali was the one funding their lavish lifestyle and seemingly endless stream of gifts, but claimed he wasn't aware where the money was coming from.

The question remains, however, on what Ali and Taherzadeh's motives were in getting close to people with White House access by impersonating government agents.

Secret Service agents assigned to details for President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris' residence are among those being investigated for accepting lavish gifts and partying with Taherzadeh and Ali, who alleged they were agents with the Department of Homeland Security.

At least one of the U.S. Secret Service (USSS) agents receiving free rent from Taherzadeh and Ali was assigned to the detail protecting Harris' residence at Number One Observatory Circle at the Naval Observatory, sources at the building told DailyMail.com.

Another, sources claim, was on the presidential protective detail and regularly traveled with President Biden on Air Force One.

Thanks Joe! Looking forward to Ron Klain telling us why this would be good news

A "recession shock" is coming, BofA warns

What does this even mean..Fed assets?

"The Federal Reserve on Wednesday signalled it will likely start culling assets from its $9 trillion balance sheet at its meeting in early May and will do so at nearly twice the pace it did in its previous "quantitative tightening" exercise as it confronts inflation running at a four-decade high"
