Can you all imagine being stupid enough to think this inflation is caused by Putin when 1) people were calling that it was coming a year and a half ago, and 2) the percentage increase went over 6 in OCTOBER 2021 and has been there since. I could have sworn the Russian invasion started four months after that.

Again, I agree with you, but as a country we have a way of not facing issues or a half-assed way of facing issues based on political expediency - generally who (meaning race, ethnicity, or political persuasion) would be "disenfranchised". If some should be allowed to act like petulant undisciplined children, then it should be the same for all; then perhaps the resultant anarchy will get the attention necessary.

The very construction of the First Amendment doesn't support unbridled free speech in the demonstrative form.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

The red portion says we and the press have the right to express our minds, but it doesn't say actions and it doesn't say anywhere we want. The blue says we have the right to assemble and petition government; that would imply that actions at a service station wouldn't be covered unless a government body was assembled there. It seems every time courts rule on the issues, they screw it up because they can't simply read the damn words and judge without reinterpreting "intentions". Our courts are the closest we come to totalitarian government and at the same time the greatest contributors to anarchy.

This is a great lesson in the chickens coming home to roost. We've printed money since 2008. We've given out how many "free" stimulus checks? Bailed out large, failing businesses at taxpayer expense. Grown the government at taxpayer expense. Now we ALL pay the price for this. Dumb asses.

President Joe Biden and Democrats’ attempt to blame the nationwide gasoline price hike on Russia appears to be working, according to the latest polling data.


The majority of Americans surveyed primarily pinned high gasoline prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to the poll released Sunday by ABC News. A whopping 71% of respondents blamed Putin “a great deal” for the high costs at the pump while another 68% blamed Big Oil for the prices, echoing another Democratic talking point.
