Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly: Biden has 'no plan' for Title 42 Migrant Surge

Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly warned that the United States is facing a potential "humanitarian crisis" after visiting the southern border this week.

Kelly, a Democrat facing a tough reelection battle this fall, is one of five Democratic senators who oppose the Biden administration's decision to halt Title 42, the pandemic-era order that allowed authorities to expel migrants without first hearing asylum claims in the name of public health. Speaking to Fox News in an interview Friday, the Arizona Democrat reiterated his concerns that the White House was lifting Title 42 without a plan to handle an expected surge in illegal border crossings.

The sad part is that Kelly is probably only speaking out against Biden and the Dumbocrats because he personally has something to lose.

Kelly has been full throated for the agenda up until the last couple of weeks. He see the writing on the wall. He's a fake and a hack. He wants to fool Arizonians then go back to the same thing he's been doing since taking over for McCain. Kelly could've said something a year ago.

Has Kelly ever done an interview with FoxNews before now?

Any Democrat that does an interview w/Fox News gets badly roasted by their own cult.

So I read an article about a small company with idle drilling rigs in ND - can't find workers. The weird thing is there is a housing boom and people seem unwilling to work, and that just doesn't make sense to me - none of it. How can you qualify for a home without income, and why without any real signs of growth (except a resurgence after Covid) is there a job boom with no workers. It's not like we brought jobs back from China, the population hasn't skyrocketed (unless you count illegals), and the only noticeable drop in work demographics is boomer retirement.

So between the wonderful world of business planning, scheduling, micromanaging, over managing, over administrating, and bloated governments, have we finally reached the point where everybody is pushing paperwork and nobody is left to build stuff? After years on the job, it wouldn't surprise me; it was looking a lot like the Indians were greatly outnumbered and unproductively overwhelmed by the chiefs and their bloated support staffs. Are we at a point where actual production is immaterial and what the investment markets think is the economy - something like fantasy business? Kami may have screwed her way to success, but I don't think it's going to work for business or the country as a whole.

It should work itself out I would think. Eventually the trades will simply start paying more and they will attract young workers who realize they can make good or better money without a 4 year degree and student debt.

one of my son's close friends went to work with a construction company that does pipe or something. My son to CC to get his first 2 years free. His friend has been knocking down $1000 plus a week since sarting right after HS and is now in postion in one year to move up to foreman. It can be done. Depends on your interests and what you want to do for a living. But, the trades can provide a good living if you put in your time and want to move up.

There's Nothing Democrats Can Do To Stop Latinos from Abandoning Biden in Droves. When he and his party chose Socialism and Wokeism over the American Dream they lost us, writes GLORIA ROMERO, former Democratic leader of the California State Senate

Just in time for the upcoming celebrations of Cinco de Mayo, Latinos are sending unmistakable mutterings of 'Que @#$%&! es eso?' — a spicy Spanish version of 'Let's Go Brandon' — to the Biden Administration and the Democratic Party.

The most recent tolling of the political bells was revealed in last week's Quinnipiac poll, showing only 26 percent of Latinos approve of the way President Joe Biden is handling his job.

That's a nearly 10-point drop of Biden's approval rating among Latinos from April 6th when he garnered a paltry 34 percent.

Latino discontent with this administration is obvious in even the bluest of states.

Right. Some even go on to get their contractors license and make a ton of dough.

I will believe this is true when I see it at election time.

ya know they need that PA/WVA anthracite to make the steel that is make in the USA?.... well probably the kids in the white house these days do not know that.
Metallurgical bituminous works, which is good because there is far more of it available. And yeah the kids in the White House probably think steel comes ready to use from steel mines or the steel fairy.

Years ago, most large govt piping jobs I quoted required US made pvf and you had to provide the docs to prove it. Not sure how this is different
Yeah pretty much any federal job has always required a certain amount of american made products. Not sure if Trump raised it or something.

That is true, thanks! Has xiden lied to us yet about how he used to be a Pa coal miner?

With a lot of the shortages in the work force, I'd agree, save for some obvious chosen professions. I don't want a HS grad designing the bridge structure I'm crossing, etc. But, the current labor market offers young folks willing to go to work to secure more than a McDonalds job and do well. There are so many shortages in the trade, companies are willing to hire fresh grads and pay for their training, or train and certify on teh job. all starting out between $14-17 hour for a non-experienced electrician in training straight out of high school. Had a talk with my son this monring about that if he wasn't sure what he chose to study was what he wanted. He's wrapping up year 1 of free TN CC. Can take up to one year off and still qualify to finish if he wanted to explore opportunities.
