President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Of course the 2nd part of this grim evaluation is even IF you could get a POTUS elected with the right mindset could you ever convince Congress (regardless of the majority) to go along with throwing huge chunks of the budget into a wood chipper?

Nope. Not a chance. Handouts to get votes require big spending. No politician is going to pass up reelection to balance the budget. We were screwed a long time ago when the first politician opened up the treasury for votes.

Anyone else worried about this Disinformation Dept???
Do liberals/Democrats really support this even after all the Disinformation the Biden regime has pushed?

I think the simple answer is would anyone who supports it now support it if DeSantis or Trump proposed it and filled the positions? It's a disaster all the way round

DHS should be losing power rather than gaining it

Instead of dissolving the multiheaded beast that needs to die called DHS they double down with Orwell’s Ministry of Truth. SMDH

I would be worried either way.....it's insanity...these are the type of decisions that cause people to rebel.

No, not worried. I think we all know what it will be used for so no need to worry, just wary.

That is my belief yes. It’s a printing press Ponzi scheme.

The Treasury issues bonds, the Federal Reserve buys these bonds and holds them on its balance sheet. The interest the Fed collects on those US Treasuries is paid … to the Treasury. No actual “money” changed hands here debt is just magically created.

So the topic of money is separate from debt. In the transaction I outlined “money” was never involved but the result was increased sovereign indebtedness. The actual money supply is managed separately from our sovereign debt and is much lower for the amount in circulation than our $30T in debt.

I understand what you are saying and thanks for the link. I just used your setup to hop on a soap box 😬

So to put the idiot in chief’s “economic policy” on full display. The market was actually at a smaller dip point at the end of the first four months of 2020 than it is today for 2022. Yes the March 2020 drop occurred and was already into recovery.
