It isn't hypocritical, it's part of the plan. Any and all political ideologies that don't match up with what the political elites want at any given second is "extremism" and "disinformation", meaning they can start flexing the legal muscle they're trying to build to bury whoever they want. We've seen this play out time and time again.

We should never have any federal agencies that regulate determine what is disinformation and what is truth .. ever . Governments of every kind have historically shown that they can’t be trusted with determining what information that it wants it’s citizens to see as truth .

I propose we drop the pretense and just change from "federal" agencies and government to "feral" agencies and government. The federal government is no longer serving the people; it is an entity that cares only about its own preservation and procreation.

That's a big if, and the GOP is pretty incompetent when compared to dems in collecting zealots, but we can hope. What I'd really love to see is the day we stand up and sweep the politicians and parties out of DC and put outsiders who believe in the US in their places. You also have to find a way to crack down on speculation in the commodities market and to make the oil industry competitive. Parts of it are competitive, but there are chokepoints, too. Another thing, break OPEC and it all changes.
