You are dead on about possibly Michele OBama. Biden will go thru the primaries-get the wins-then magically just before the convention he will withdraw due to health reasons. This will throw the floor open for nominations. The reps from each state will decide the next democratic nominee--not the democratic voters. They are being fed @#%* and being told it is peanut butter.

I could totally see that happening, and I have been thinking this was a possibility for a while.....but it won't be big Mike. She/He doesn't like Washington D.C.

What was my other crackpot ideas :)? This crackpot idea came from someone far more informed about D.C. politics than probably anyone on this board and definitely myself. When you stop and think about it it makes perfect sense for a couple of reasons.
(1). A lot of democrats are as concerned about Joe Biden"s ability to govern for five more years as the non democrats are.
(2) Noone wants the current VP to ascend to power.
(3) With each day passing you cannot get on more states ballots.(that eliminates anyone jumping in now)
(4) If you are going to wait till two or three months before election, it has to be someone with star power
(5) With the short time between convention and election it limits the amount of time for that person's shortcomings to be exposed.
WE will circle back around next fall and see. Have a great day.

Thanks. Whoever broached the idea of Biden stepping aside after the primaries and Michelle Obama being nominated at the convention is a wise sage.

Where did you get this misperception that Republicans are saying that joblessness is a problem? It's not. Therefore there are few excuses for one not to work. Welfare spending should reflect this

The problems are things like interest rates, inflation and housing. There are tons of jobs out there. Why should anyone in this job environment be collecting unemployment?
