Thankfully that is changing. The people who have moved to Florida over the last 3 years have registered overwhelmingly republican. I read something yesterday that it's the same with Idaho with 65 percent of new residents registering as republicans, 20 something percent as independents and just 12 percent as democrats. The Florida numbers are even worse for dems, with over 600K new republicans registered verses around 30K dems. There are real political refugees these days living in our country. I does suck for the conservatives left behind in those liberal hell holes though.

Not making light of this evil, but all these Hispanics and illegals are gonna have their wage rates driven down. Impacts their communities so eould figure they would want tighter borders.

Nah not really. Only 2 percent of the "migrants"....aka leaches have applied for work permits. Costing us half a trillion a year so far. The people coming here are total loser leaches.

The overwhelming majority of first-gen legal immigrants absolutely want tighter borders. The people scrambling in over the border and overstaying visas usually make the legal ones look awful because they get lumped in with the illegals and all the absolutely crappy stuff they do.

To be fair, this is the result of huge deficit spending by our gov't. I think Democrats are more to blame than Republicans but other than Rand Paul, there's not another fiscal conservative on Capitol Hill

That is the overwhelming sentiment I hear living in TX. It pisses the majority of legal immigrants off on how so many try to circumvent the process they abided by. They aren’t necessarily hostile towards them however in fact in many cases they are sympathetic. But the broad brush lumping illegals with legal immigrants rightly bugs the piss outta them.

Many places are. That's a lot of what they are throwing up. A lot of it is clearly because they need places to put all these new people in Middle TN especially in or near the city limits. Much of what they are building around Tanger are apartments. I think that was the template for the Avenue as well. You might know better than me. Whereas when Providence was developed subdivisions seemed more prominent around it. I guess it depends on how dense the area is.
