Biden is already having to implement controls that would have gone beyond what the proposed deal included.

the border control bill allowed for the border to stay open until 4000 Mexicans or Canadians crossed. No cutoff if 1 million Hondurans crossed.
Biden is now using an EO to shut down the border if 2500 people cross.

the border control bill had more holes in it than the actual border. when it can be selectively turned on and off, and also got less restrictive over time, it clearly wasn't a good deal.
