It’s called the “Market of Sweethearts” — and it’s bustling every day of the week. One suspected brothel operates openly across from two elementary schools, with parents walking their kids past the seedy joint’s hawker as they head to class.

this really doesn't prove the point this guy thinks it does and he should really just delete it.. The average rate of return for the Dow Jones each year is 10.7%. So do some math over each 4 year period regardless of who is President. History proves the Dow Jones will go up no matter who is President. But obviously there are a whole host of factors that go into determining at what rate including things that have nothing to do with the President.

But you know that and are just trolling with dumb tweets.

And no one but those corporations had any more money and are worse off today than they were in 2016.

When the bottom falls out the crash is just going to hurt worse. Our dollar is buying less and less these days.

Or, one could look at it this way before you take a victory lap and give credit where credit isn’t due. Tax rates are still what they were under the Trump administration when his tax bill was signed into law…positive for consumer spending. The Fed action is largely responsible for engineering the moderate cooling of inflation, not Biden’s policies including build back worse, with interest rate increases and now peeling them back a bit to more neutral to maximize employment while achieving price stability. Fed governors do point to deficit spending as problematic for inflation. It’s a complaint that fiscal behavior from administrations and Congress is painting them into coffin corner where their job will become more difficult. The markets are currently responding largely to Fed policy and recent corporate earnings, not Biden policies.

For amounts over $693,000 filing jointly at marginal rates, but our problem is still spending. Even if they taxed everyone making over $500k at a full 39.6% with no marginal rates, it wouldn’t even put a dent in the trajectory of the debt. But the Dems rely on their emotional constituents to not understand that. They’re just trying to keep them whipped up with the whole “pay their fair share” mantra.
I don’t see the wealth tax nor the tax on unrealized capital gains getting through Congress. All the ultra rich, liberal Hollywood types, pro athletes and Wall Street billionaires will come unglued on her. Even if Congress is controlled by Dems in both the House and Senate…the big money will lean on them hard.
