Former presidential candidate and representative from Hawaii Tulsi Gabbard is one Democrat who is willing to call out Joe Biden for his horrible policies.

Gabbard blasted Biden for saying he was going to make the Border Patrol agents “pay” over the false story claiming CBP agents had whipped Haitians who were entering illegally at the border in Del Rio, Texas.

Biden Must Create New Taxes, Eliminate Natural Gas to Meet Climate Pledge, Analysts Say

President Joe Biden would need to implement a massive tax on emissions and conduct a near elimination of natural gas to meet his climate goals, according to left-leaning environmental experts.

Biden will join world leaders at the United Nations' climate change conference in November to discuss his administration's pledge to reduce U.S. carbon emissions by 50 to 52 percent by 2030. While a White House fact sheet claims the goal will "cut … energy costs for families," environmental experts contend Biden must enact policies that would raise taxes on everyday Americans to reach his emissions milestone.

According to Resources for the Future fellow Marc Hafstead, for example, Biden will fall short of his climate objective if he does not implement a tax hike on carbon emissions. The left-leaning World Resources Institute agrees—mitigation efforts without an emissions tax "carry significant uncertainties and fall short" of Biden's goal, its top experts wrote in September. The University of Maryland's Leon Clarke argues Biden would need a "near-complete phase-out" of natural gas-fired utilities and appliances.

The radical steps necessary to achieve his emissions goals—nearly half of U.S. homes use natural gas for heating—reflect the daunting political road ahead for Biden. The Democrat centered his campaign around fighting climate change but often ditched specifics for political platitudes on the campaign trail. Some environmental activists are already dismayed with Biden over what they see as an emphasis on "talking points" rather than tangible action. Should Biden lean into the "whole-of-government approach to the climate crisis" that he has promised, however, the subsequent policies could be "politically infeasible," according to Hafstead.

These climate change lies are about getting the socialist morons to vote Democratic. These policies NEVER had any chance whatsoever of actually being implemented.

60% of our power generation is net carbon positive footprint. And we have been spending a crap ton of money retiring coal fired plants for natural gas. That pandering idiot in the WH is a moron for even making a stupid claim like that. Even the climate activists are going “WTF?!”. What an idiot 😂

Well, you know, electricity comes out of a plug, and the free stuff comes out of the sky, and all electric cars are going to clean the place up, so no worries.

He doesn't care - he'll be dead before he officially fails on this. In the meantime it keeps his base happy. Cynical as hell

I’m sure that idiot doesn’t even know what the hell he’s pandering about on the carbon emissions reduction plans. He’s just reading what he’s told.

The moron wants to reduce carbon emissions by 50% by 2030. Well cars aren’t going to go anywhere that quick and we can’t build nuclear plants because… science? 🤷‍♂️ Thus we will have to obsolete 60% of our electrical generation capacity as well as replace natural gas appliances all in the next 8 years.

What a f)&@ing moron.

More brilliance from Joe - hard to imagine a tax paying citizen is paying more in taxes than a tax paying corporation. 60% of households had no tax liability - the same doesn't apply to corporations.

FAIL

Obviously joe doesn't understand that companies have to set prices that cover costs, and costs include taxes. You'd think that being from Delaware, and Delaware being so giant corporate friendly and all, he might have a clue.

just the statement that an individual pays more taxes than a corporation is insane - no one in the middle class has a tax bill approaching the tax bill of a mid-sized or even small profitable corporation

presumably he means effective tax rate but that's a different thing than how much one pays in taxes

And what’s hilarious is this is a damn tweet. The idiot didn’t even blow a cue card or teleprompter read. This was one of the underling morons that blew this one. At least they are consistent in being grossly wrong in their taxation claims 😂

But but but @TN Ribs just said this was Trump today. Maybe Trump was not doing as good of a job as Curly Joe at being an Autocrat. Maybe Tn Ribs is smarter than Gabbard.

In an odd twist no one ever paid for blowing up those 7 kids in Afghanistan. No one ever paid for the 13 soliders that were killed.

My question is where did all the libs and Joe lovers go in this thread? Scattered like rats

There are millions of Biden lovers out there, the sooner conservatives and Republicans come to terms with the fact that the demographics in the US have changed dramatically since 1980 the sooner more nationally appealing candidates will be nominated. It is extremely difficult to win a national election with candidates who only appeal to certain geographical areas like the South or the Midwest. If Ron DeSantis is nominated, he will be no different than the Mitt Romney nomination. He will get close enough to make it interesting but will ultimately fail because while he may be wildly popular in the South. He isn't going to drive out voters in Pennsylvania or Michigan which is what you have to do to win. Trump, for all of his flaws, appealed to a wide range of voters in every state not just southern good ol' boys.

I think he can drive out voters in the other States as long as the Covid nonsense is still going on (which there's no reason it won't be since those in power love that extra power they have)
