President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

Trump was president for 1 month after the vaccine came out of course more people got vaccinated after Biden was in office.
How are you determining poor vs great? Biden set a goal and Trump was hitting that goal before he left office. It's unlikely there would have even been a vax had Biden been in office

A big screw up by the Fed and CDC was doubling down on mandates, masking, and quarantines AFTER the profile of those vulnerable became known. The stance of looking the other way of those in charge during protests and riots also was a mixed message. The pandemic, response, and solution (vaccination) began to look increasingly political.

Do yall think the vaccination rates and compliance would have been better if the government had taken a different approach? I think it would have.

Give me a break guys.
Isn't the debate about how things are better under Biden THAN THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN HAD TRUMP WON REELECTION?
You guys do realize that if Biden were not president, then Trump would be...........right???
The comparison of how they support vaccination is completely valid.
I am 100% willing to defend my position that Biden supported the vaccination of America far more aggressively than Trump ever did (or would have - god forbid he actually won reelection).
So Biden literally said to protect against a hurricane get vaxed....that to you makes sense??? Should we have just used the vaccine in Afghanistan too...or maybe if everyone is vaxed gun violenece and crime will stop....jamming propaganda down the throat of of the public is not a good thing.....in fact each time he makes a dumbass statement he losees what little credibility he has...

I remember Biden/Harris weren't gonna take the vaccine if it came from Prez Trump.
Harris flat out refused to take the vaccine when it's coming from the other guy's admin.
What made her change her mind? It's the same vaccine that was offered up from Trump.
Obviously Biden's aggressive, relentless push finally convinced her.

Yes I do. Had the federal .gov just disseminated the information as accurately as possible and advised on how to mitigate the risk it would have helped. Had state and local .govs not shut things down and polarized the citizenry things would have been better. Had the media not politicized covid things would have been better.

Speaking for myself: my choice of vaccination is (would have been) the same regardless of sitting POTUS, CDC head, or any other political official. Neither I or my family are at significant risk. I am almost a recluse anyway, since I work from home and do not like to be around a lot of other people. Additionally, I simply do not trust Big government, big pharma, and Big media to be honest about things. My default is distrust, cynicism, and zero faith in those entities or people.

Things are not better under Biden in any measurable way. People are still catching covid, people are still dying, we have runaway inflation that's not being addresses, we have shortages and layoffs that the administration is ignoring.

We might be experiencing all of this and more had Trump been reselcted but in no way has Biden made anything better.
Then let me qualify my statement......."better than they otherwise would have been"

Everyone knew recovering from the effects of the pandemic were going to be painful.

There's no way Biden said that. That has to be quoted out of context. Please tell me this is a mountain our of a mole hill.
Heres the quote

"Let me be clear: If you're in a state where hurricanes often strike — like Florida or the Gulf Coast or into Texas — a vital part of preparing for hurricane season is to get vaccinated now,."

Here is the context
In context, Biden was urging people in states threatened by hurricanes to get vaccinated in order to lower the risk that they’ll become infected by the coronavirus while staying in a shelter or evacuating from their homes.

It’s like the “jobs saved” metric popularized by Obama. It’s always great to measure yourself against a standard that can never be known. You can always claim victory.

This is really all I wanted from the "leaders". As information began to take shape, it should have shaped the advice to our society. We should have be exposing young people and healthy 30-60 year olds on a step basis. An appeal to get vaccinated would have been better than the way it was done.

The vaccine not being available until Dec. was never a relevant issue.
The issue is the comparison between how Trump and Biden promoted the vaccine and the importance of being vaccinated.
Biden did a great job, Trump did a poor job.

The resulting effect is that Biden's approach resulted in more being vaccinated.
Pretty simple to follow.

I didn't see anything relating to the opinion of the person in charge of warp. oops.

What thesis?

too the bold - hard to justify Trump did a poor job when he did everything in his power to get vaccines created and approved. Virtually no one thought it could be done in the time frame that it was - it's considered a miracle of modern science and Trump exerted as much influence that was in the sphere of his control to make it happen. Hard to argue that is a poor job of promoting the vaccine and the importance of being vaccinated. Once available (and when he knew he wouldn't be POTUS) he still oversaw the system that took us from approval to over 1 million shots per day being administered in 2 months. Hard to argue that is a poor job of promoting the vaccine and the importance of being vaccinated.

while the vaccine was awaiting approval Biden publicly and repeatedly cast doubt on the safety of a vaccine being approved so quickly implying shortcuts or political influence were overriding safety protocols.

the facts simply don't support your one did a great job/one did a poor job.

Ok. I see why he said it and how it was said. His head was right because the last thing a hit area needs is an outbreak in shelters. Biden is simply the worst communicator elected to POTUS in my lifetime. He's a buffoon. The only reason his isn't a gaffe-a-minute man now is his handlers kill mics and pull him from the reporter pool.

After understanding why Luther constructs his posts, supporting facts simply aren't important.

Taking bets no on who Team Biden will blame for the latest inflation numbers?

Side bet on the new reasons they'll tell you why the highest inflation since 1982 (4 decades) is actually good news
Blame: Corportate America. Republicans. Ds who didn't support the infrastructure bill. Russia.

Good news: increased wages, lower interest rates, benefit climate change, trade numbers.

I doubt that. The one area I did have confidence in Trump is the economy, I'm pretty certain he would be addressing the supply chain issues and never would have attempted to institute a vaccine mandate. So yeah things may not be much better since it's a world wide issue but it wouldn't be worse by any stretch of the imagination.

Edit: We're not recovering from the effects of the pandemic. We're recovering from the piss poor management of it at all levels.

The difference would be the left would still be refusing to take Trumps vaccine.

Trump was already rubber stamping anything vaccine related so your supposition is incorrect. Trump would have loved to push his vaccine, and the Dems would have been unsupportive of the measures he took.

I thinking Big Ham - November's #s were Big Turkey gouging for T-day dinner. Big Ham being the Gringh for Christmas dinner. Also Big Figgy Pudding is exhibiting evil greed.
