President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I am glad you are a dissenting voice. We need dissenting voices. I don't know anyone on here who agrees 100% with everyone or everything. Here's what I don't understand: there are excellent points of dissension to be made regarding Trump and Biden. There are arguments rooted in objectivity. Anyone paying attention can see you are an intelligent man. You do not lack critical thinking. However, you pick the most asinine hills on which to plant your flag. I don't get it.
You saved the landing in the flare. Up until your last sentence, i thought for sure we were gonna crash.

Biden is currently tanking right now in polls. If he suddenly made a shift to the Middle, would it help he and the Democrats any?

No sir. Radicals don't think he he progressive enough and middle America sees him for the babbling baboon, liar, panderer and policy maker he is

I'm only pointing out how the table in the post above about inflation was equally as ridiculous. Who didn't know that coming out of the COVID shutdown was going to cause inflation, hell inflation was already forecasted before COVID even showed up.
Either both Biden and Trump get the COVID exemption, or neither do.

However, you didn't have any problem claiming that biden had huge job growth and claiming Trump had the worst performance in that category. Trump's job growth was doing fine until early 2020 when covid dug in. Biden's job "growth" is simply picking some of those jobs back up. Be consistent on the covid effect or stop quoting figures affected by it - you've been at least as partisan if not more than anyone here at spouting covid affected statistics and claiming normalcy.

That’s different

Well, you know, all those people who lost jobs under Trump were somehow accumulating a nest egg to drive inflation under biden. The liberal mind is a terrible place where irrationality thrives. Inflation couldn't possibly have anything at all to do with supply chain shortages and idiots driving fuel prices ... nothing at all.

Never rule anything out with the group of voters we have in this country. Hell, you could have some Republicans voting democrat in the midterms next year of the conditions were right. So imagine how the moderates and pizzed off leftists will swing.

I don't take anything for granted going in to 2022... especially with them being able to manipulate the voting.

That’s not a federal government issue or at least shouldn’t be. I pay vehicle property taxes that is specifically for that and they even added a flat road fee to that tax specifically for fixing roads. Then again what have we been paying taxes for all along? Why does it somehow hit all at once when the taxes you pay are meant to fix, build, and maintain it all the time.

Two of the richest states in the country also has some of the poorest infrastructure in the country - California and New York.

I'm a huge fan, have been for 45 years. Great man, great ideas, great policies, greatest ex-president of all times. I just wish people would have been smarter.....I guess we're both dreamers.
I think that tells everyone exactly what they need to know about where you stand. Jimmy Carter was one of, if not the very worst president in the history of the nation. Luckily for Jimmy, his buddy Joe is bumping him down a rung on the ladder.

Tucker had an economist on the other night who challenges the current calculation of the CPI and said it has changed compared to 40 years ago. They said the inflation situation is a lot worse than the numbers indicate.

That's always the problem with statistics, metrics (for when you have thoroughly trashed "statistics"), or indices (for when you want to seem more official and less markety). It's all about endpoints and boundary conditions; you can prove anything by judiciously setting the boundary conditions. For example, if you exclude enough stuff (like energy and food and ...) then inflation can be made to look not bad at all.

Joe is probably celebrating being in 1st place until someone explains it to him.

It was again intended to show the absurdity.
The right going nuts over the economy as if Trump was great and Biden has screwed it up is as insane as saying Trump oversaw the greatest net loss of jobs since the great depression and Biden is overseeing the greatest increase in employment in decades.

Taken in context - both positions are moronic - but the right is rabidly supporting the first and discounting the second.
