President Trump's Cabinet?

As if that's the only nutty thing you find at Breitbart:

Bill Kristol: Republican Spoiler, Renegade Jew - headline to an article by David Horowitz in Breitbart. It was not explained what Kristol being Jewish had to do with anything that followed.

Did you not read the article? Horowitz, who is a Jew, is pointing out that Kristol, by supporting anyone but Trump - even Hillary, is supporting a foreign policy that is not in the best interest of Jews. From the article:

"I am a Jew who has never been to Israel and has never been a Zionist in the sense of believing that Jews can rid themselves of Jew hatred by having their own nation state. But half of world Jewry now lives in Israel, and the enemies whom Obama and Hillary have empowered — Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hezbollah, ISIS, and Hamas — have openly sworn to exterminate the Jews. I am also an American (and an American first), whose country is threatened with destruction by the same enemies. To weaken the only party that stands between the Jews and their annihilation, and between America and the forces intent on destroying her, is a political miscalculation so great and a betrayal so profound as to not be easily forgiven."

No, my bad. I read a summary of the article at MSNBC.com. I don't read Breitbart. It didn't include that passage by Horowitz you just cited... Still, that is a nutty headline.

How so?

Serious question.

He is emphatically for civil asset forfeiture, which should be anathema to anyone who claims to support small government or the Constitution. He's strongly anti-marijuana, which to me calls into question how a Trump administration and its appointees will approach the state's rights issue. Based on that and his history of making racially-charged comments, I doubt he'll anything to curtail the War on Drugs, which I hoped was one of the bipartisan things Trump's regime would tackle (along with criminal justice reform).

I don't like his uber-hardline immigration stance either, but I'll wait and see on that front. We'll see how Trump directs him.

There is no way I would want someone like Sessions on the Supreme Court.

It is a nutty headline. Frankly, most of Brietbart's headlines are over the top. I guess that's how they drive readership. The flip side of that though, is the establishment media has been thoroughly discredited IMO. They're just driving an agenda now.

I won't argue that. I heard for 16 months that a President Trump wasn't possible.

What do you guys think? Is the Romney meeting a head fake?

According to one of the press reports (and you know how utterly reliable they have been) Romney called him soon after the election to congratulate him.

It could be something as serious as a Cabinet position or it could be just a meeting to bury the hatchet. If you are trying to predict what Trump is doing next, I wouldn't even try.

The one name that hasn't gotten much attention as a possible Secretary of State is Nikki Haley. That will be an interesting choice if she accepts.

I think he has claimed it as a joke. Still...

It sounds like with the part I put in bold that you think that black voter suppression is important to Trump's administration. I hope that's not true but that has been a hallmark of Session's legal pursuits. Trump's claim of trying to bring the country together really was hot air. The appointments of Steve Bannon and now Sessions proves that.

You do know he put the head of the klan in Alabama in jail, and fined the Klan in Alabama millions of dollars, which essentially wiped them out at that time right?

Michael Flynn will be National Security Advisor. Of course it only takes CNN thirty seconds to start ****ing all over him.

Yep, starting with...

He's Alt-right...he's made controversial comments against Muslims and the best one....he shared fake news.

Romney or Haley as SOS would piss off many of Trump's most loyal supporters.

They don't have to do that. All they need is the DoD inspector generals investigation into Flynn's tenure as director at DIA. Which will include multiple reprimands, a reprimand for giving classified information to the Pakistani ISI, his poor leadership at DIA, the fact that his staff reported him to the undersecretary for intelligence. He caused a department wide revolt when he decided to give a some kind of crazy 1950s Mad Men style power point presentation about female dress codes at DIA where he instructed female employees to wear make up, paint their nails, don't wear flats but he gave brunettes more leeway than redheads and blondes. He has a bad reputation on capital hill and within DoD and is known as a serial staff abuser. Trump should thank good the National Security Adviser post doesn't need senate confirmation.

Did she break the law? My gut says yes because of the mere existence of the server. She needs to be prosecuted.

Lock her up.

OR, fine the ever loving hell out of her and the CF.

First of all, yes! From anyone who has ever held a clearance, **** her.

Second, locking her up would be doing Bill a favor. Let that conniving ***** loose to torment his ass forever.

That doesn't matter, he probably used the N word 30 years ago. That matters.

Can we all agree that it's hilarious that Rick Perry is being considered for Energy Secretary? The head of the agency that he forgot the name of as one of three agency's he wanted to eliminate.

I mean... wow.

LOL! It shows that someone in the Trump transition team has a sense of humor. Not a bad thing.

His state created more jobs under Obama due primarily to the oil and gas sector, so yes it makes total sense.

After reading this I like the pick even more.
