President Trump's Cabinet?

Who might be your ideal choice as SecState?

Not a war hawk. I know who those guys are specifically because they are war hawks. I know who Massie, Amash, and Rand Paul are specifically because they are not war hawks....any one of them would be great, but I would also be glad to take someone I am unfamiliar with because they fall in the area between Rudy/Bolton and my ideal bros of liberty.

You voted for Gary right?

I have never given 2 sh!ts about any specific person that any President has ever appointed to his Cabinet, and I'm not starting to worry about that now. Put me down as "it's Trump's cabinet, and he can appoint anyone he wants."

You think any of those three would take the job?

Definitely. If Trump told them they would really have a say, they would get in on that in a heart beat. Regardless of how they feel about Trump, it's a chance to make a huge difference for a lot of people.

I think they would walk if it didn't go down as promised, and if they didn't I would hang them.

I'd say Rand above the other two. Easier for Bevin to appoint a conservative to fill the 6 year term he was just reelected to.

Looks like Sessions is going to be in his cabinet

On other key national security appointments, there is more agreement. Sen. Jeff Sessions is now the leading contender for attorney general, and is in the mix for secretary of defense as well, say multiple sources with knowledge of the transition.
Retired Lt. General Ron Burgess, former director of the DIA, is a leading contender for director of national intelligence. Retired General Michael Flynn is leading candidate for national security adviser.

Bring back Bill Frist and give him a cabinet position.

Unprecedented conflict of interest? Has this journalist never heard of the Clinton Foundation?

I agree, which is why I brought this up. Rudy G hammered the Clinton Foundation during the election and it looks like he's been taking money as well...

I don't know much about this which is why I was asking

Just saw where Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, could be under consideration for AG as well. He is known for his immigration views and is credited with in drafting Arizona's SB 1070 and Alabama's immigration bills.

Rudy Giuliani isn't the only one with conflicts of interest. Russia paid Flynn to appear at a gala in Moscow with Putin. He also appeared in Moscow without notifying the Secretory of Defense's Office. He also works for a consulting firm that lobbies on Turkey's behave.
